I have been vastly improving in the last few weeks with my backhand thanks to these forums and the HeavyDisc blog. My average drive has increased from about 280 to 310 and my max drive from 300 to 330. I definitely think i will break 350 within the next couple months. As i have slowed my footwork and focused much more on the hit i have had increased problems with grip-lock. I have experimented with aiming left so the grip-locked shot goes straight but that is inconsistent. Today i believe I had an aha moment. I have not been reaching far enough back, my right hip has been pointing towards the target rather than my right butt-cheek. Is this something others have experienced? Was this my problem? Thanks for any input!
