Whats up all, just got stationed at Fort Sam Houston, dying to play disc. Any locals have any course recommendations? Closer to base the better. Also any local DG shops I should check out? Thanks.

McClain Park is a lotta fun but if you wanna really challenging round play Live Oak City Park.

Universal city, Live oak and McClain are all awesome! I'm recovering from back surgery or I would invite ya.

Trinity university has a pretty nice 6 hole, but the top 3 are definitely Live Oak, Universal City and McClain. Every tuesday there is a mini @ UC, Wednesday @ McClain, Thursday @ Live Oak. Also, saturday morning @ mcclain and sunday morning @ UC.

No local shops besides academy. But discnation is about an hour away.

Try Live Oak and Universal City parks, since it is easier driving route up on HI 35.

buying new discs: any Academy Sporting Goods, Nick's Sport Shop 1 mile away from Live Oak Park and Chevron Ice House in Live Oak neighborhood.
