JM has gotten a fair amount of grief for his decisions on video, but if those aren't more than countered by his course building and event management, then nothing will ever suffice.

You'd think a hole called the submarine would make you laugh, but you can see the logic and structure of the hole, how the right shot pays and an error is punished. Good work.

Hole 1 is just an extended version of hole 2 and has nothing to do with hole 1 of the default course. Hole 16 is indeed just a mega-extended 24

Watched the exhibition doubles match from opening day and this place looks amazing. Very nice looking course. Definitely pro caliber. And a beautiful place in general.

Tees off near 23's tee and goes past 23's basket, just takes a completely different route. But mostly just mega-extended 24. :thmbup:

The course looks impressive, and super difficult. It's a bit rough around the edges as most of the grass is not really in place yet, and the fairways not as trimmed as they will be. Some fairways give you a taste of the beauty to come, like that long U-shaped par 4 where the fairway was already very neat. Can't wait to see the course evolve and get even more beautiful! I will go and give it a try for sure, but definitely the regular layout. The one on the video would eat me alive.
