Ricky now with an 87 footer, a 60 footer, and a 49 footer..... has not missed a single C1X putt... and he's now at -4 after that 49 footer for bogey.

Klein is pretty hot himself. He'll have earned this win, moreso than anyone else having lost it.Eagle needs to beat Klein by 10 to get a chance, and he's trying.
Half of that 8 stroke swing happened on the final hole.Wow, 8 stroke swing in the last 7 holes. This was way closer than anyone expected.
When it comes to soccer, I pretty much hate VAR. I think it kills the flow of the game, and doesn't always seem to get the right answer anyway.
That said, Holyn's 1st OB on 18 is really stuck in my head right now. Looking on IR, there is no way that disc crosses in, and by the time they all walk up there, this could be known by video review. I'm super excited to see her get a big win, but it seems a bit tarnished to me. Anyone else feel that way?
I don't honestly know this...was there any chance this could have been ruled a misplay with a retrospective score adjustment?
The difficulty lies in fairness - are we going to have cameras available every hole so every card can receive that kind of precision with their calls? Or are the lead cards the only ones privie to the benefit of video replay to ensure the sanctity of their outcomes? When it comes to soccer, I pretty much hate VAR. I'm sure the DGPT is highly interested in fairness. The difficulty lies in fairness - are we going to have cameras available every hole so every card can receive that kind of precision with their calls? I have no idea what you're referencing so I'm certainly curious.Fair.
Although, during the first round coverage, the cameras followed Eliezra Midtlying into the scoring tent, where they seemed to capture some discussion of a misplay on that card (not, as I understand it, from Elie herself, although I don't know for sure).
If a misplay is brought up apparently by officials in the scoring tent after the round, there must be some mechanism in existence for scoring revisions after the fact. Was the misplay in question picked up in real time and attested by witnesses, caught on video, or other? I don't know, because DGN cut away from the discussion and promptly dropped it.
If it was some sort of an eyewitness report leading to the discussion, then the question of level of scrutiny on a given card, which you raised, becomes apt again, doesn't it?
Video and outside witness...other than cardmates, players or officials {in given situations} cannot be used for a ruling.Fair.

Maria Oliva hole 16 R1.I have no idea what you're referencing so I'm certainly curious.
I am not so certain of that. She would have had to take 4 shots if she had reteed in order to score a 6. In her previous 3 rounds she scored 4, 5, 5.I.m 90% sure that Holyn would have taken a 6 at worse even if she had made the re tee. .
Well 90% might be high. . .but she really only made bad shots om 18 in R4. . first was disaster bad...2nd near OB again. . 3rd OB..I am not so certain of that. She would have had to take 4 shots if she had reteed in order to score a 6. In her previous 3 rounds she scored 4, 5, 5.
