Feldberg praises fake USDGC.
Coincidence? I think not.

Trophy only, first place recieved a hand painted picture of hole 17 (really nice looking too) for his trophy.abcd said:So what was the payout ? Mix of cash and plastic?
The major pros that showed up were also there to host clinics each night. Only a small handfull of other pros showed up. Being trophy only I am sure it was not worth the travel expenses for many of them.dehaas said:veganray said:Fake USDGC = Innova's baby.

I don't remember seeing it mentioned anywhere earlier, but all of the top pros that played were Innova sponsored. Makes you wonder if they weren't the main sponsor if the pros that did show up wouldn't have otherwise.

I still dont see what everybody on this MB is so upset about, anyway you slice it, it was a fine event. Harold, JP, and the rest of Innova East put on the same quality tournament that they spent the last 12 years trying to establish. This year they got to actually turn a profit instead of raising 75k to just give away to unappreciative pros.

ah yes, I will take $5,000 worth of good DX rocs and KC aviars.
Check out several big events in horse racing and a few other sports that use handicaps. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handicappingwarobert - While I don't like making the comparison, can anyone come up with any other sport that does anything close to a handicap system for a large prominent championship event?
