Video clips by jr, lcgm8, mafa and others

Reigning Finnish champion Leo Piironen attempting a new Finnish record for putting as many discs in from 10 meters in one minute. This is on a nationally seen free TV channel in prime time. The segment starts at 3:05 and the putting later after advertizements. Check this out for putting how it's supposed to be performed. Ice cold and in. Previously some online programs from Finnish TV channels have limited access to IP addresses within Finland but people have gotten to see the video by using a proxy service so in case of problems i suggest using those.

What would you say is his style of putting? Push? Spin? Something else?

Looks to me like a hybrid push-spin, maybe weighted heavier on the spin side.

//edit On a second glance it looks almost purely spin. Smooth but quick whipping motion.

I love the holes with the awesome tall trees. It looks like these videos have more of those, so I'm getting them. Thanks.

It is great to train the minutiae of smoothness on holes that define acceptable accuracy and consistency so mercilessly. Or if you aren't so inclined on any given day they challenge even far throwing overhead throwers.

We didn't do this video from Kankaanpää Open 2012 that was filmed with an expensive DSLR with expensive optics which means that the autofocus works slower and concentrates on a single depth more than our video cameras:

I'd love to see what such a camera would look like the editing improvements by lcgm8 shot on a clear summer day instead of in the fall. One never knows what's gonna happen on the equipment front but i would not mind using better cameras to find out. We shall see what the future brings. For just about everything than the focus speed and lack of multiple focus depths that camera is so far ahead of normal consumer video cameras that it is unfair :)

Beautiful course to boot! I would love to play that one day.

This one, "Viidentienristeys" is one of my favorite courses in Finland. The same general area Kankaanpää-Tampere-Jyväskylä-Laukaa actually has most of the good courses I've ever played at. :)
Too bad they're all 200-400km away...

Very nice camera indeed...Doesn't seem like an amateur using it either :)

Round 1 collage of Finnish winter series "Fur cap" Nokia event. The course is partially the same as The Beast that features the President's Cup and the European Open. On a positive note eight ladies competed in this event.
