Holy ****. That place is terrible. It's the hive mind of Twitter soaked in vomit and try hards. The camping/bushcraft community has plenty of posers which is fine, their intentions are good and typically they just spent a little too much money - no big deal if they can afford it. Same with the car community. I support all noobs trying to progress in their sport/hobby/career/etc. Right on!
/r/discgolf just screams "people I never want to bump into on the course"
Today was my first day there (long time redditor) and I went through top/all time, controversial, top/week, etc. Place is saturated with inaccurate information and hoards of "team upvote" or "team downvote" depending upon the subject.
