[MVP] Why I switched from Wizards to Ions (long post warning)

I just picked up two Ions this weekend:

175 Medium, Clear Green, No Texture
166 Medium, Opaque White, No Texture

Are these the same run? I got the 175 after the 166 for wind duties... but if these are different runs then that comparison is a little tricky, right?
Those are most likely runs right next to each other. After polishing out the texture, we ran a few runs of opaque colors right before we switched to the clear colorants.

All right, that's what I thought from the info in this thread.

So, the newer run is a bit more stable/overstable? That's what I was hoping with the heavier weight, on top of that.

Yep. The 166 will take less effort to get going on an approach or drive, but the 175 will fight a moderate headwind better. I have a 164 opaque white medium and it's a lot of fun to drive with.
