Amazing time 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 21, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

24 beautifully thought out holes.
Long concrete pads with round part facing the hole.
Simple tee pad diagram and yardage.
Five holes over 400, three under 200.
Beautifully groomed with swamp danger on many holes (mostly retrievable).
In-between hole signs showing where the next tee is.
Elevation and woods keep the holes from interacting with each other.
Roughs were well cleaned up of dead branches and excessive thicket.
Garbage cans were all below 1/5. Clearly cleaned regularly.

Cons:

Lets see...they were working on growing grass on 2 and 3 so there were low fences on the left of 2 and short on 3.
The baskets are a little beat up.
Score card layout doesn't include all of the swamp areas. (still mostly retrievable).

Other Thoughts:

This was my 83rd course and the first I played in Michigan (12th state). I was highly impressed. I easily rank this in my top 3. The locals that I ran into told me that it was a hidden gem in the area and that not many people go out there, I was shocked! I asked what they thought the signature hole was and they had a hard time.
My signature holes: 1, 4, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16 & 22. Yeah, I know it seems ridiculous but you go out there and try and narrow it down...it really is that awesome. I hope you agree!
