Pros:
Park basics: has drinking water available throughout the course, has restrooms.
First hole has an enjoyable water hazard. Later on, the swamp comes into play, and it's not fun to go in to retrieve your disc, but you can, and I did!
Cautionary note: the swamp gets deep, fast, one step and you're at least waist deep. Oops...
The swamp means skeeters, so bring bug spray, all season.
There are 24 holes, mostly wooded, but a couple open ones along the treeline that demand some beefy drives. There is solid use of elevation, hyzer and anhyzer shots, and narrow tunnels. So bring your bag and be ready to pull out all your tricks.
It's a quite challenging course, and I have no complaints about the lay-out.
Cons:
The course isn't immaculately clean, but it's nothing surprising. Just your typical beer bottles and gatorade bottles here and there. I did NOT encounter any broken glass, which is awesome!
Not every hole has a bench, in fact, most don't. But, there are garbage cans with lids, which was nice, and generally seemed to be used.
Other Thoughts:
Definitely worth a visit, one of many solid courses in the metro area. I'd consider it in the higher tier of available courses, but it could use a little polishing.
If you get the opportunity, definitely worth a throw. If you have the time, play it back to back, you'll learn a lot about risk v reward playing decisions!
