Course Wears Short Shorts 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 29, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course was beautiful and had a great community feel to it. This is a birdie haven. I really liked a few of these holes as they took some interesting approach shot type drives. This is a great beginner or short game practice course. Hole #9 takes a real accurate drive to get through the tree line. They did have cement tee pads and signs. Trashcans were readily available.

Cons:

The holes were rather short as the title of this review is referring. The signs are actually installed in the tee pad and can be in the way for some. The signs also need to be cleaned up as many of them have been 'tagged." There are lots of people using this park, so watch out for the people. The holes were of the simple design. No bathrooms at this park.

Other Thoughts:

The fun factor was just ok for me. It is a great place to make a bunch of ace runs, but that may be about the end of the thrills. I did enjoy the walk, as it is very beautiful, but not much of a challenge.

Ace Run City...with your putter 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 3, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

really nice smooth layout, alwyas good for a quick round. well maintained, plenty of trash cans, next tee boxes are close enough its not a long walk bout far enough to be outta the way.

concrete tee boxes...always a plus

great course for begginers. REAL short holes, great confidence booster. or if you have a little more experience just take a putter and practice on your accuracy, really fun in the wind.

good neighborhood, cops patrol every now and then(on the road, not the park).

Cons:

very small.

short holes

couple signs on teepads?!?! i dunno why lol

not very technical except for 2-3 holes

not much too it

Other Thoughts:

overall this is a very good nine hole course. if you got an extra 30 min give it a shot, but i wouldnt drive out of my way to go play here.

I have heard that this will eventually become an 18 hole course and they are gonna switch up a lot of the park. cant wait!!

playground and basketball court if kids dont wanna play golf with ya.

water hazards on 4 and 9, but easily retrievable

Good Beginner 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 5, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Good luchtime course. Very well manicured compared to what it used to be. Very short so beginners can play and boost their confidence!! A bunch of hyzer shots(RHBH) but has some annys in there too. You can play it VERY fast. Fun to go out and try out the other arm.

Cons:

The tee signs are on the front of the pad so they are kind of annoying but not really in the way. The water is nasty when up but pretty dry now. And the water smells bad even though its just puddles now.

Other Thoughts:

WATCH OUT for snakes!!! Playground and basketball court there too.
