Seeley Lake, Morrell, Pyramid, and Discgolf 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 5, 2021 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Fun Mountain Discgolf thru a Fir and Larch Forrest

Course Map at Hole 1

Gold Painted Teeposts at Every Tee greatly Helps in Navigation

Drives are generally Straight Forward, thru Moderate to Heavy Woods

Good Diversity of Hole Lengths
Drove Putters, Mids, and Fairways

Two 9 Hole Loops
Front has single chained Bright Yellow (Lightning?) Baskets
Tees are Natural and are Framed (4'x10') with Wood Posts on Three sides, pointing you to the Basket

Back has Bright Yellow painted wood post Targets (4or6" OD)
Tees are also Framed on Three sides, but use Rocks and Deadwood, currently

The Front Basketed Loop plays inbetween the two Ridges, where there's less Elevation, especially for Mountain Dg
There is still some Elevation in Play on five of the Holes, typically around the Greens... which is something I Like about the Design

The Back Loop uses the Elevation of the two Ridges, and kicks things up a notch, which I also Enjoyed

Cons:

Trimming some Branches on some Fairways and or Over Tees, could be Useful

Teeposts, Baskets, and or Targets Not Numbered... and no Teesigns, Currently

Other Thoughts:

Trails to Next Tee aren't Worn/Obvious
Most Tees are Visible from the prior Target, but there's some not obvious
2 6 8 10 11 & 18
Cross Path to the Right on both 15 n 16
Bring a Copy of the Map first time thru

Natural Tees and Half Objects, aren't something I'm gonna complain about in Cons section
Account for it, and have Fun :)

Steeep Ridge Hiking on 11 & 14
16 17 & 18 play down a Ridge near Morrell Creek
Thicker Vegetation and Deadfall down there, with a Blind Target for 17 and a Long walk to 18, thru possibly Prickly stuff
Proper Footwear Recommend

After the hike up from 18, I'd Safari to 2 and 1 Baskets, going back to the Vehicle
