Winter Disc Golf 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 16, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Awesome setting!! I love the scenery and the layout of this course.
Lots of good parking.
Concrete tee pads on every hole and in good condition.
Great mixture of trees, water, and elevation change to provide different challenges throughout the course.
Bring the family for a picnic as there are multiple pavilions and picnic tables throughout the park.

Cons:

Some of the baskets are bent as if they got hit by lawn mower or something.
Some tee signs missing.
Located in a busy park with lots of people walking around and vehicles driving through.
Not the most beginner friendly because of the four holes that play beside the river and several more that play close to a pond. At least 6 - 8 holes have danger for losing a disc.

Other Thoughts:

Probably the biggest reason I only gave this a 3.5 rating is the fact that 18 straight holes of par 3 gets kinda monotonous. This course is laid out in a fairly big park and I felt that there would be enough of room for at least 2 or 3 par 4s.
As I mentioned I love the river views and the mature trees the course plays through. This really is the perfect kind of land for a disc golf course and hopefully it stays maintained for years to come !!

rearranged 2+ years drive by

Pros:

This course has been rearranged so the previous reviews are kind of invalid.

This is a nice course with 2 tees for most holes. The long tees are ofter in the 400+ range and the short tees more like 250ish. The holes are mostly pretty tight with low ceilings but they are all on mowed grass. The water is only in play on holes 6 and 9.

Cons:

The park seems like it is very busy, I didn't have any troubles but I could see how you might. The course becomes a little tough to follow after hole 3 as the tee for hole 4 is in the woods on the other side of a pond. Hole 9 only has one tee that I could find, it is a very tough shot (about 420ft with water the whole way down the left side and on top of that the tee is overgrown. I just played from the fairway in front of the brush. The last thing is a little nit-picky but the tee pads are framed in wood and sunk about 2 inches, the are also kind of small which makes the footwork awkward.

Other Thoughts:

I really enjoyed the course, take what you can get in central PA.
