Pros:

The Boltz JHS course is a more honest course than a series of ace runs. There is a collection of mature trees and a creek that keep the course interesting. Its good for a quick round, or for when Edora is packed. During the summer, there is a ton of parking. I wish my school had a course, that would have been awesome.

Cons:

I started my round by teeing off on the wrong pad. Thank God a car load of locals came by and saved me. Many times I prepared to watch people tee off and think that the basket was the other direction. There are no course markings at all. The tee pads are short, made for jr. high kids, but the holes actually have length, that a jr high kid probably couldn't reach. They (or a rouge somebody) should mark the tee pads. That would go a long way to improving this course. A simple number and arrow would make a world of difference.

Other Thoughts:

The course isn't as useless as the description and Olorin review leaves you to believe, however it's not far off. Mostly open and flat. Well manicured with a creek, yet unmarked.
