Lotsa trees and long rough to lose discs in if you're not accurate

Well kept and well managed. Weekly club here Sunday at 10:30. If you play it often, being a Bronte Creek park member will save you a fortune in parking.

Many different style holes.
Well maintained.
Only people on the course are other discgolfers.

Poison Ivy and thornbushes are extra punishing for mistakes on certain holes.
High cost to get into the park if you aren't a big group.

Varied hole layouts requiring high, low, right and left turn shots.
Several holes with minor elevation changes.
Variety of wide open holes and tighter wooded areas.
Pins are moved closer in the winter to avoid losing discs.
Nice variety between the pro and amateur pads, distance and angle-wise.
Feels like a golf course with wide open fairways and a bit of nasty rough around to punish the bad throws.
Annual and seasonal Provincial park passes are available to keep the costs down. The annual pass is around $150 and will get you into all Ontario Provincial Parks for day use.
There is a local group of throwers who maintain the course with funds raised from tourneys that do a great job.
Tournaments are frequent if you like the competition.

I'd like to see the province use more of the admission fees to maintain the bridges and pads.
A busy course on Saturday and Sundays between 11am and 2pm mostly due to tournament play.

Most holes have 3 or 4 pin locations that are changed often giving the course a fresh look.
Currently the pins are in the easiest/closest location as of Oct 6th 2011.

Tests your ability to throw straight! Rough is really deep, so avoid it. Multiple tees and alternate basket locations keep the course interesting if played often. Pay to play means you can take your time.

Too tight for total beginners to have a good time - really hot in the sun as not much shade.

Bright colored discs are a must!

Excellent baskets.
Two tees and multiple basket positions for each hole.
All tees are patio-stoned.
Excellent winter course.
Good elevation changes.
Great mix of distance and accuracy required on each hole.
Great mix of required shots, with different routes to basket on several layouts.
Great layout and flow (there really is a front and back 9 with the parking lot in the middle, and you can play them in either order easily).
Maybe my favourite course. Super tough from the longs.
Every hole is good, there aren't any holes that are 'throw-aways'.
Easily navigated, and well signed.
A few ace runs, and plenty of birdie opportunities.

The entrance fee. It is per car, so just carpool. There is no max # per car, so pile in and park at the Tim Horton's on Burloak.
Protection from the wind is inconsistent, so putting can be tough, and requires you to play smart.

It looks a bit far from Toronto on a map, but it's all highway. The park is so close to the QEW/403, you can see it from the highway.

Lots of elevation and challenge. Great signage as well with little arrows indicating which position the pin is currently in so be sure to take a look at the sign. Very friendly locals as well.

The tee-pads are made from patio stones and as a result, some of the slabs weren't completely even with each other so it's possibly to get tripped up a little. Also, they are a bit on the short side.

$13 fee to enter park is a bit steep.

This course will have you throwing over valleys, down and up hills and through the woods. The only thing you don't have to worry about here is water. Hole #2 stands out as a signature hole in my mind. Playing from the long tees you will throw across a valley and through an opening in the trees to land on the other side.

I found my round at Bronte to be very enjoyable and would highly recommend playing here if you're in the area.

Lots of variety in elevation and righty/lefty holes. Most holes leave many options on routes to the pins. Very challenging in the long configuration.

Patio stone teepads are relatively short (approximately 6 feet) with a couple of shaky stones. Water fountains and restrooms not very close to the course.
