Peak tall grass season, highly suggest playing short tees. Pretty big difference between short & Long Tees

Very scenic course that plays through the Caldwell Park Conservation Area. Moderately wooded with moderate amount of elevation. Several holes play along or through native prairie grass. The rough is dense but the fairways are fair.

The Mahaska County Conservation Board may occasionally close this course for special events. Please check with them before traveling to play. This is also a carry in, carry out park.
