Don't fear the Witch! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 24, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Lots of tight, technical shots
-Much shorter than Badlands, which is a great way to finish a round
-Very creative holes and pin placements
-Much, much more fun than Badlands
-Hanging basket on one hole, which I always love

Cons:

-Extremely easy to lose a disc
-Very difficult to navigate, due to the lack of visibility due to the often thick woods
-Use of a spotter is absolutley neccesarry...don't throw anything but bright discs here!

Other Thoughts:

A fun addition to Badlands, that just has to be played. If you play Badlands, but skip Blair Witch, you're missing out on a great experience. It's the perfect way to end a round.

Denvers Best 9 Hole 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 14, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Most intimidating 1st shot around, but opens up into a tight and technical course with great pin placements. Tons of foliage makes it very challenging during the summer/fall months. Most holes have a "green" that is separated from the "fairway" by lush vegetation and trees. Elevation changes, blind shots, throw over a lake, creek in play on several holes!!

Cons:

Water in the creek is far from clean. Dirt tee boxes are rutted out and uneven. Can get muddy when raining outside. The views of the back side of Water World take away from the natural beauty.

Other Thoughts:

Best 9 hole course in Denver!! Typically play 2-3 rounds here instead of the 18 hole badlands course.

Great 9 Hole Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 6, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Its a short 9 hole course but don't let it deceive you. The great thing about this course is that it is definitely like two different courses during Summer and Winter. Summer it is fully overgrown and will give even the pros a handful. Look at picture 1 and you can see that 10 feet past the tee it is complete brush. Only the best drives will get you to the pin.

It has everything you almost look for in a course. Tight windows with trees trying to steal your disc, water to help sink it in, hyzer holes, anhyzer holes, s curves, and holes where even a good ole overhand will come in handy.

Cons:

The only cons that I have with the course is that some of the water holes around this area are sewage type and definitely horrible. One of those cases where if you would like to go in and get your disc you might come out with a few extra new body parts.

Other Thoughts:

The name Blair Witch says it all. This course is so overgrown with the trees stalking over you through every hole.

If you want to work on your accuracy then you need to play this course. It has short and long drives. This course should definitely be a Par 3 for each hole, for those who say par 4 on some holes then you need to practice more.
