The holes that wrap around the living quarters are beginner friendly and easy to spot. The baskets are still in great condition and are all numbered. Most "fairways" have signs and tees are always concrete

Beware of where you are throwing. Every fairway is located on or near a concrete sidewalk or street, which means pegging an unsuspecting bystander or car is a very real possibility. For those who don't have base access, don't feel bad because you're not missing much. It's just a narrow urban putter course.

There's not much more to add, two of the most trusted viewers on the site have pretty much covered everything notable. There's still no sign for 1&2 and theres still 9 poorly thought out fairways. Basically, I'm just confirming that the course hasn't been moved or changed. It's better than nothing I suppose, especially for those that don't have the time to drive off base. The broken bottles and disguarded cigarettes around basket 8 were a nice local touch

I'm thankful the U.S. Marines are better at protecting our freedom than designing a disc golf course. Because this is one poorly designed course. Camp Pendleton is one gigantic Marine base and someone squeezed this course around this one housing complex, almost entirely playing on concrete walkways.

NOTE: I only had to show my Driver's License to get on my base. I was expecting to have to provide more information.

The course features Discatcher baskets and great colored signs. The signs give the distance in yards. DGCR math majors need to mutiply by 3 to figure out the distance in feet. I believe the first two signs have been vandalized and are currently AWOL. They might have been fragged!

It took me awhile to find # 1 but once I did, navigation was very easy. The plays plays around the 3-4 buildings in a clockwise direction.

There are a couple of fun little ACE runs. # 7 is a great hole to practice skipping your disc off the concrete while # 8 is takes a sharp 90 degree turn around the building.

#1 and 2 signs are missing.

Course is played almost entirely on concrete.

Longest hole is 70 yards (210 feet).

Concrete is a little hard on discs.

Course is bland and not very exciting. Very little in the way of obstacles.

There is so much open land on this base where a full sized 18 hole course could have been constructed. Obviously, the Marine in charge of this knew nothing of disc golf and didn't bother to seek out any advice from someone who did. It's a shame because with a base full of marines, there might have been some great interest in disc golf had a more creative and interesting course had been installed.
