The only other par 5 on the course (other than #8) is a dog-leg right along a narrow fairway next to a ditch. The optimal tee shot will leave you at the turn (and hopefully slightly right), so a thumber or easy flick (for RH players) will usually be the smart option.
There's a long ditch with mad woodlands that runs along the left side of the fairway on the way to the basket, so going long off the tee doesn't leave you a lot of lines unless you get really lucky.
Going right off the tee is JAIL. If you shank one or hit a tree off the tee and end up there, your best bet is to try and toss out into the fairway and hope to save par.
This hole is easily birdie-able and two well-placed shots will have you looking at an eagle. Many shots have been made up here. Play smart!
