#2 is one of the easier holes for amateur and rec players to play for a birdie. It's not EASY, mind you -- it's easiER. No holes at The Castle are a guaranteed birdie. Number 2 just happens to be a bit more promiscuous.
There are two schools of thought for this hole, and either are do-able in the face of the Mando: Hyzer-bomb with an overstable putter or midrange; or an easy flick with a mid-range or fairway driver.
With the hyzer option, it's easy to misjudge the number and location of the trees so getting the disc UP and OUT is key to get enough clearance to miss the trees and enough height to give your disc enough glide to make it to the basket.
The flick option "seems" easiest and for those confident with it, it may be; however, in the summertime the mad foliage can make this shot more risky than the hyzer option if you're birdie-hunting.
And, not for nothin', going past the fairway is pretty much incarceration.
