Leave this course to the kids. The adults can enjoy the wineries! 2+ years

Pros:

CB Eller is a basic, kid-friendly six-hole layout. If you're looking for an ace, keep playing the loop until you bang the chains.
- This course isn't meant to be aimed at anyone above a beginner skill level and/or kids. Being at an elementary school, it does offer children a nice introduction to the game.
- The six holes play in a loop around the baseball field and rec area. All six baskets are visible so navigation is a breeze.
- Five of the six holes range from 175 - 230 feet. The other - #3 - is a whopping 280 feet. I played the entire course with one mid-range disc. Leave your bag in the car. It will only slow you down.
- The course is in Elkin. Elkin is home to many wineries. Wine is good!
- It'd be nice if there were a spot to donate discs to further encourage kids to play the game.

Cons:

Being fair to this course, I'm not going to nitpick. I'll just point out a couple of things:
- I couldn't find all the tee pads. Not that I wanted to spend any extra time looking for markers. Instead, I threw from the previous hole's basket. It seemed to work out nicely.
- Course is cramped into a small space. The area is too small to serve as a practice area unless you're only working on mid-range or shorter shots. It'd be hard to find anywhere here where one could unleash a driver.
- The bigger concern is the safety risk for kids playing when other kids are around. You wouldn't want kids accidentally hitting other students with a disc and a situation arising that would cause the baskets to be pulled.

Other Thoughts:

CB Eller has six baskets. The holes are short. Add it up, and you're in for a quick round. I finished in right about 10 minutes.
- Summary of each hole? Throw a mid-range on an open layout, park it close to the basket and have a birdie putt.
- Even for the kiddos, they're going to be making some good throws. The hope is this course is an ego-boost that they want to play some more. In that case, this course is a success.
- Course isn't convenient to anything. It's 15 minutes off the interstate, so you've really got to be in course-bagging mode to drive out here.
- As is the norm, my ratings are done in comparison to every course, not in a vacuum. As a pitch-n-putt six-hole layout, this course gets a low rating. If this course leads to new players joining the sport, any rating on DGCR is totally irrelevant.
