Pros:
Course is in an large area of lush green grass with widely scattered trees.
The mando on Hole 4 makes it an interesting dogleg right, and the long tee on Hole 6 requires either a high shot over the island in the pond or a big right sweeper around the end of the island.
Good concrete teepads, with signs embedded into the back corner of the pad. Moisture has gotten into the signs and made some of them difficult to read.
Cons:
Most of the holes are similar, with a 300 - 400 foot distance over open ground to the basket with a few widely spaced trees to avoid. Many of the baskets are placed behind a tree to add some challenge, but there are few obstacles between the tees and the baskets. No real lines that need to be hit.
Some of the baskets are in close proximity to each other. Until you play the course a couple of times you may need to scout ahead to determine which basket to play.
Other Thoughts:
Unable to play holes 3, 4, 5 and 6 on a weekday summer evening because of the large number of park visitors in the area of the pavilion, picnic, and playground areas. The next morning at 8:00 a.m. the park was empty.
