Pros:

This course has a good balance open and tree lined holes and will test your shot shaping abilities. The flow is logical and navigation isn't an issue.
This course is a good test of your skills. There are short, moderate, and longer holes. Holes 2-4 use the woods well to define shots and make you hit gaps. There are a few reachable holes on this course as well as a few holes that you will need decent distance in order to have a look at a duece.
The sidewalks as OB's add a challenge.
Cessna has multiple pin placements on many holes which adds variety.
Hole 2 from the long tee is a nice gap shot right off the tee. Hole 3 is another gap/tunnel shot that must be hit in order to score well.
There is a creek that comes into play on holes 1(long placement)5 and 7. This adds to the pucker factor a bit.
Tee pads are ample and allow for a proper run up. Signage is adequate and the red DD recruit baskets are very visible.

Cons:

*Sign missing on hole 1 and hole 2's sign is damaged.
*Tee pads on holes 3-6 can be slick with mud due to the hard pack after a solid rain.
*The walking path comes into play on several holes please pay attention before you throw.
*The parking lot could come into play on hole 11 so be aware.
*Holes 14-17 are mostly wide open and unimaginative.
*There are no benches or trashcans(not a huge con but some might complain).

Other Thoughts:

Overall this is a solid course that is fun to play for players of all skill levels. Advanced and Open players will have a field day here raking up the birdies and ace running multiple holes. Players of all abilities will find something here to challenge their abilities. This is a course that will improve your confidence as a player because the more you hone your game the better your score will be here. It's a fun course to play and every once in a while it is set up in the championship layout. When its in that layout this course plays entirely different. It becomes a lot harder and many of the holes are long. There are some holes in the championship layout that are very fun but this layout isn't offered every day. Hole 4 and 6 on the front 9 of the championship layout are long dog leg right holes. 11, 12, and 14 have the most trees to navigate in this layout and 17 is a low ceiling island hole that plays very difficult.

As it is Cessna is a nice addition to the courses in the area. This course gets a lot of play but rarely is there much of a back up. Locals are friendly and the Air Capital Disc Golf Club has done a good job of providing disc golfers with more options in the Wichita area.

Pretty park near I-35 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 14, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Good intro holes (1-4) that set the tone and intimidate a bit
Nice use of foliage and elevation
Good Parking near tee #1 with moderately easy access
No tall grass or weeds to lose your discs
Get to watch big planes take off and land
Not crowded at all

Cons:

Plays kinda close to one busy street on #6
Difficult to navigate with dirt tees that end in small blue flags and a wood cross tie
Holes 9-18 are very open and easy to par even for a beginner
No course map, signage, or open bathrooms

Other Thoughts:

I like this course and will play again. The first few holes are west of the parking lot and play towards woods and creek. Fun, fun, fun! The second round was much faster, and this is a course you could play in less than an hour once you knew it.
