so short 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 26, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

It's convenient to the freeway. This might be one of the more accessible courses in the east bay along with aquatic park.

I went on thanksgiving and it was pretty empty, so probably crowds are a non-issue.

Would be a great place to learn the game

Cons:

Some of the holes are so short you have to wonder why bother. But you can make your own tees.

Can get muddy!

Other Thoughts:

Is what it is. Would be a good park to throw about 4 rounds, sip on some brews, play a game of 'shoes and grill some burgers.

Pros:

There are baskets insteat of tones.
Great mid range and fairway driver practice. Nice trees and creek in the back. Some cool local tees
You may even be lucky enough to see some girls dancing to some TooShort while your putting at basket 2.

Cons:

Very short, lots of park users to watch for.

Other Thoughts:

Not worth the time... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 4, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good for beginners, very short. Good place to use your mid-range and putter. Hard to lose a disc.

Cons:

VERY short, not very challenging and seems to have been installed as an afterthought.

Other Thoughts:

If you're gonna give it a try get there early in the AM. The course plays thru picnic tables and play areas.

Only Fun if you play Safari 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Nov 27, 2007 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great beginner's course, hard to lose discs. Baskets are in good shape, tee areas are dirt but are usually in pretty good shape as well. If you play with creative tees, can be challenging.

Cons:

If you play the course 'as posted', it's probably only challenging if you're throwing lids. Picnic area can make hole 8 a pedestrian hazard.

Other Thoughts:

If you're willing to mix up your round and throw from modified/longer tees, this course could achieve a rating of 2.5.
