fun little course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 14, 2021 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

interesting variety from basket to basket. some tunnel shots, elevation change and a dirt island on hole 9.

the alternate teepads definitely help. look for those little orange flags.

i've only played here twice but the first time i was behind some locals who were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

no teepads and a lotta missing signs. you'll be fine with udisc tho.

this is a pitch-n-putt course so don't expect to break in your new distance drivers here.

Other Thoughts:

hole 2 has a downhill blind basket. if you overthrow there's a good chance you could hit a parked car. i recommend not parking anywhere near that basket just in case.

honestly, i like this little course a lot. it ain't perfect but it's pretty damn fun for what it is.

Pros:

Beautiful park cant believe it is in San Leandro !Lots of trees and shade. Some narrow, and a couple sort of challenging shots. Don't need a huge arm to play here though some decent shots.Never lost a disc here.Love this place!

Cons:

Can be people picnicking that can prevent holes from being played as the day goes on so try to play early am .Not super challenging but still cool. Not great signage or directions.

Other Thoughts:

One of my favorite local courses !

Chabot Disc Golf 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 17, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Tight; many trees and obstacles
Somewhat technical
Rarely busy
Easy to make alternate tees
Shaded...good for any type of weather
Basically a good place to play for beginners and veterans alike

Cons:

Going during the daytime in the summers can be tough as there is a daycamp, and the kids running around force you to skip some holes (5 through 7).

Other Thoughts:

Though having the ease of making new holes as a plus, it can also suck as some of the local players will get in big groups and they dont mind cutting you off when they decide to play their made up holes. Can be irritating when you are a pair just trying to play the course.
