Pros:
I've been coming to Browns Farm for nearly 20 years now and it is one of my absolute favorite places to play disc golf at. The course is situated on a beautiful family farm that has some truly amazing views and just an overall peaceful setting. The course itself is excellent also. There are wide open holes, tight wooded holes, left curves, right curves, downhills, everything you need to make an amazing course. The holes have evolved slightly over the years with pins and tees getting longer and other holes changing completely. But the one constant remains, and that is the fun factor.
Cons:
I feel like Browns Farm could be a top 20 course in the world, except they really don't want it to be. If that makes sense?? The tee pads are horrendous and some of the worst you will play on any course. The tee signs are non-existent. There are tree limbs hanging in flight lines, that they apparently really like. It's not a constant throughout, but a pole saw on a few trees would make these holes even better. Some proper tee pads would make things so much safer and more enjoyable here also. They really are horrendous when it gets wet, and the ones that had carpet are totally shot and bunched up and ripped.
but.....I still love it. I just wish they realized the potential they had to make this a true destination with the available barn and cabin which could be rented also.
Other Thoughts:
Browns Farm is a special place. I've had some of the best experiences playing here. I always stop by when I'm nearby. Even some of my dogs ashes on the course because she loved it so much also.
If you are looking for a disc golf destination away from civilization on a beautiful farm, this is the place to come.
There is a porta potty on site and it's $5 to play. There are course maps and loner discs available also.
