Pros:
Decent elevation changes for an Austin area course. Large shot selection needed; though many of the holes felt mildly repetitive: narrow fairway, then bend to the right/left to the hole, ~300 feet.
Cons:
Several of the dirt tees have large rocks jutting to the surface in the middle of them. Very little signage to indicate which way to go to get to the next hole, you basically just have to follow worn out paths through the forest. Unfortunately, on some holes there are several such paths.
Other Thoughts:
While I don't mind, there are long walks between several of the holes. This course will be difficult even if you are of intermediate skill, since most of the fairways are ~20-30 feet wide with trees overhanging the fairway on many holes. If you do go into the forest, it is very difficult to throw out of, usually a penalty stroke results. Several of the holes have water on them - but only if it has rained within the last few weeks.
