Pros:
-Some very short holes as well as a few over 400' create a fair amount of variety
-The hyper short holes on the front 9 create chances for an ace
-Good use of the available space
-Bathrooms available (in the summer)
-Plenty of parking throughout the park
-Fun basket placements, especially in the base of a wide tree
Cons:
-Layout can be confusing, even when using Udisc
-Tee pads were at one time astroturf, but most are overgrown with grass or destroyed.
-Tee signs are pretty beat up and can be hard to get any useful information
-This review is made in the off season, but there is still a heavy layer of leaves on the ground in some areas that can make finding discs quite challenging, as well as multiple large branches on the ground. Just poorly maintained
Other Thoughts:
I appreciate the thought and effort that was put into this 9 basket, 18 tee course. For the space that was available, it was well used from my perspective. The reason I would have for coming back would be to try to get an easy ace. It's a fun course, but the environment limits further growth. I wish they would invest the same amount of time and money into the DGC as they did in the pickle ball courts nearby.
