Pros:

*concrete tees
*great use of land
*great layout. Someone knew what they were doing.
*tee signs (hole one missing)
*pretty dedicated to disc golf only area
*great view

Cons:

*limited parking
*overgrown
*multiple baskets broke deformed.
*teepads need weed eating
*did I say overgrown?
*

Other Thoughts:

If kept up this course could be a 3 star course even though it only has 7 holes. And if expanded to 18 using the area I see. This could easily be a top level course in dfw. . Instead it looks unplayed and not cared for. Tore up from locals. It's so sad to see so much potential wasted like this.

Up, Down, Up, Down,.. 2+ years

Pros:

The cement tees are great and the Discatcher baskets are easy enough to find (except #7 which is missing). You play the holes up and down the slope that follows all the way around the pond/creek. The signs are really good. The holes are mostly straight away shots. A couple of the holes have multiple tees.

Cons:

There is some dirt/mud areas and tall grass around many of the baskets. There are lots of rocks. The entire course is like a leftover rock quarry. There is also no place to park except right off the street. As mentioned before, #7 basket is missing, so maybe just play this last hole to the Blue Tee Sign Post.

Other Thoughts:

The Fun Factor is mixed here. The holes are not bad, but the ground and rocks will tear up your discs. This course is across the main road form the actual Eagle Ranch Park. It surrounds a small pond/creek with homes being built around it. They may have been able to get 9 holes in here, but settled for 7. After hole number 6, just keep walking along the creek and you will find the tees for #7.

One small update notice: The word around here is that as soon as they finish the housing construction in this area, they are going to come back and maybe even finish this out to 18 holes. I must say the land is rough (rocks and what not), but the landscape has some real good potential. The hills and pond and such are really giving this place a feeling like it could become something really great. UPDATE: It is said that when they finish building the homes around this area, the designer will go back and finish this course to 18 holes. I am looking forward to it since the elevation changes are cool and the area has some great potential.

Pros:

Some decent holes are here. Most with moderate elevation change. Several pins on side of hill, which are fun to shoot at.

Cons:

Missing baskets (#7 and practice). High grass around most baskets, only some of the 'fairway' grass gets mowed.

Other Thoughts:

This was a pretty cool course when it opened, but not so much now . It's too bad, I enjoyed playing here. I would rate it higher if I enjoyed playing in pants and was not afraid of snakes.
