Pros:

The front 9 are very well laid out. Hole 1 is a nice downhill open shot a great way to start a game. then into the woods you go for the next 8 holes eventually working back to hole 1 then across the road for the back 9. the back 9 have a few good holes and even a water shot on hole 12 (i think)

Cons:

some of the later holes in the back nine are complete nightmares. one or two even almost with no fairway.

Other Thoughts:

with some work this course could turn into a very nice course. check it out if you are passing through or live close

Gonna be a good one 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 2, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course gives everything a person could want. Wooded holes, water holes, open holes, long, short, etc. Teepads are good and the signs on the tees are pretty spot on.

Cons:

Not a big fan of 9 holes on one side of the highway and 9 on the other but they used the land that was available to them.

Other Thoughts:

This course has great potential. It has several holes that are unique and unlike any other in the northern TN, southern KY area. When a few fairways are defined on some holes this course can be great.

What fairways? 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 18, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

The course is challenging and offers a variety of shots. Some holes are technical and others are wide open.

Cons:

Some of the holes are not the best and don't always have clearly defined fairways, mainly because it has been poorly maintained. Ones that come to mind are 16 and 17. Hole 16 sits right on a hill that slopes down to a pond, and the fairway is not clear. In every group I have played with at least one shot has rolled or bounced into the water, even when it is appeared to be a great shot. Hole 17 is not more then 250 and is always an impressive duece, there just really isn't a clear path to the basket. Hole 14 is also difficult to locate from the tee, it sits on the opposite hill among a grove of pine tress (good to have a spotter here).

Other Thoughts:

If you are going to play a tournament here I would highly advice at least walking the course first since there are many blind tee shots.
There has also been a great deal of vandalism to tee signs throughout the course, so some are missing.
