A ST Louis Must Play 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 27, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Not the easiest park to find once you turn into the neighborhood , but it IS just minutes off the highway . Endicott Park has many uses , but the park Features it's disc golf course . As soon as you park here , you will be stumped as to where the first hole is . You will have to walk downhill towards what looks like a bathroom ( It is ) and back uphill to the middle of the park . A Kiosk is there close to the first hole , which you will throw the opposite way from where you parked . The Kiosk had a mp , but you want to print one if you are an out of towner . The course normally gets a lot of play , especially from the locals , who are friendly and will point you in the right direction if you ask . The morning I played ( Memorial Day ) , there were probably close to 40 people on the course at the same time . The tee pads are extra wide and long and are grippy and pretty flush with the ground . Very good since it is an older course ( 1996 ) . The baskets are Gateway Titans and are heavy chained , deep basket . Great signage with map of the hole , possible positions of the basket , and NEXT tee arrows . The course also features enough elevation to make it interesting , and a creek which barely comes into play on a few holes . The bathrooms and water fountain are located next to hole one and you will also come around close to it at #9 . Another nice amenity is that there are Benches and trash cans at all the tee pads . A very big plus since this course has so much play . It is an intermediate level course, The pros will overpower this course , but this will be a challenge for everyone else . Basket placement is key . Some great spots for risk-reward drives to baskets the are nestled in bushes or along tree lines in the woods . Only a couple of bomber holes , so the course favors the technical player . Even though the park has a lot to offer in the way of different activities , you won't likely have to share the course with the non disc golfers . Plan to be here a while . You may have to sit behind groups stacked up on the course . It only means the course is as good as advertised . Signature hole : either #7 , with a tree-bush line down the left and a tight line of trees &brush on the left , to a landing area slightly right , guarded by medium sized trees , or #17 . Slight uphill to the pin , tucked into large bushes indie and on the left today ( You want to walk up the fairway to see the pin position on this one . I threw for the wrong opening and it cost me a stroke )

Cons:

Not a lot of negatives , in my opinion . The start may be confusing for out of towners since you park at the edge of Endicott , then take a good walk to the middle of it to start . No pro tees , just one per hole ( Okay with me ) . Navigation can be confusing for first timers . PRINT A MAP . Even though this course is well taken care of , you can still lose a disc in some of the rough off the fairways . Course can get muddy .

Other Thoughts:

This was the best course I played in the Saint Louis area by far , and the volume of disc golfers on the course when I played solidified my opinion . I couldn't decide what score to give this course , but the locals here decided it for me . This is a guarantee must-play if you are near St Louis . If you only have time for one course while here , Endicott is it . My Recommendation : If anywhere close to Saint Louis - PLAY IT !!!!

Solid Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 8, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is an intermediate level course set in a multi use park right off the highway. It would be very challenging for beginners but would also help to improve their game.

Baskets - 18 Gateway Titan baskets. These were very grippy and had deep baskets. I had no issues with spit outs. There is also a practice basket on the East side of the pavilion somewhat close to hole one.

Tees - 1 very large concrete tee per hole. They were also grippy and had no issues with slipping.

Signs - Each tee sign had a map, distances for each pin, par, location for each pin, sponsors, and an arrow pointing to the next sign. There was also a 2 sided billboard at start of hole 1 listing info on the sport, events, and other various disc golf information.

Variety - This course was a great mix of hilly (both uphill and downhill) and open as well as short and technical. Every hole had some sort of obstacle. The park was filled with mature trees. Although I would not consider it a true water hazard, there was a small creek running alongside holes 3, 4, 6, and 7 but was less than a foot deep when I played. Trees and elevation caused blind shots on holes 4, 7, 8, 11, 15, and 17. No true bomber holes but this course will still challenge you. 8 and 12 were tunnel shots.

Benches/Tables and trash cans at every tee.

Easy to save par on most holes (can be a con for some).

Water fountain and bathroom on site.

Playground on site (for children if you bring them).

Nearby options for food and drink. Gas station right off highway. Fast Food within a short drive.

Cons:

Long walk from parking lot to hole 1. Have to walk near basket of 18 which can be dangerous.

Only 1 tee per hole. Yes having multiple pin positions helps to keep the course different every time, alternate tees would be a nice addition to this course. Would take it up a notch.

Having some sort of listing showing which basket location was being used would make it more playable for first timers.

Poison ivy around some of the trees and in the woods.

Navigation was tricky at first. Next hole arrows would be amazing. After 5, the closest tee is 7. After 7, I walked down a path and found the tee for 12. Had to back track to find 8. Some of the tees were not very close to the previous basket location. Long walks from 2 to 3, 4 to 5, 5 to 6, 8 to 9, and 14 to 15. Like I said, next hole arrows would improve flow.

Baskets were not always easy to spot since they are solid grey. Blended in with the trees behind them.

Due to being close to highway, cars can be heard on 11-18. Not necessarily a peaceful noise nor a true con. Some prefer courses that are quiet.

Bordering fairways can be dangerous.

Glass around basket for 4.

Other Thoughts:

I only had time for one course on my trip to Saint Louis. This one was the highest rated as well as closest to my hotel. I was not disappointed. I am from Indianapolis (very flat) so I tend to enjoy any course with hills. I would like to have rated this course a 3.75 but that was not an option. It is better than the courses in Indy where I feel are a 3.5 so I gave it a 4.

This course made the most of the land it has. Added tees, better way to list the pin position, and next hole arrows would take this course up a notch. I would like to try some of the other courses in the area but would definitely come back if I had the time to play it.

Awesome Park Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 13, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Baskets are Gateway Titans that are in good shape and catch well
-Nice concrete tee-pads
-Multiple pin positions on each hole help to add variety to the holes if you play the course a lot.
-Tee-signs are in very good shape. They show a good layout of each hole, each pin-position, the distance to each position, and there is a screw on each tee-pad marking what pin-placement the basket currently is in.
-Good use of the trees to make some tight wooded fairways and then some more wide-open holes. The course has a good variety of more open holes and tightly wooded holes.
-Course has a lot of good elevation change incorporated. The front nine especially makes really good use of the elevation in the park.
-The foliage on the course helps to add risk/reward and punishment for a bad shot.
-This course has some really fun pin-positions. My favorite pin-position was hole 7, where the basket was on a small wooden plateau. There were also quite a few tucked into alcoves in the trees.
-The course requires a pretty good variety of different shots, rather than one specific course, which is nice.

Cons:

-Lots of erosion on this course. It gets very muddy after the rain and it was quite slippery.
-Hole 14 plays a little too close to the baseball field for my liking.
-A couple of navigational issues. After the basket for 7 there was a well-worn path that ran to tee 12 rather than hole 8. On hole 15 I ended up at the basket first rather than the tee-pad. Also some of the tee-pads are really close to each other so it can sometimes be hard to know which tee-pad is next.
-Some baskets are hard to spot at they blend in with the foliage well.
-Shorter than some of the other courses in the area. The longest hole I saw was under 500 feet. The distances on the course start to feel a little repetitive. This course could definitely use 1 or 2 longer holes.
-Some neighboring backyards come into play on holes 5+6.
-Some of the park users seemed unaware of the course and there could be conflicts with other park users.
-A bit of a long walk back to the parking lot from Hole 18.
-Some of the holes play a little close to each other

Other Thoughts:

Overall, this was a really fun course with a lot of variety and good hole design. There are a couple flaws, but overall if you are in the St. Louis area make sure you play this course.

Enjoyable Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 26, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great course layout, good signage and good use of the existing land, there is a good effort to avoid holes overlapping on any of the throws but still utilize the land efficiently.

I was forced to throw each type of shot in my bag at various times, flicks, long anhyzers, low ceilings, you name it.

Almost all the baskets seemed fairly placed, where a perfect tee shot would give you a chance at birdie, there were identifiable paths and fairways on every hole.

All concrete pads oriented properly make for enjoyable tee shots on almost every hole.

Cons:

It seemed like a common theme in most of the St Louis area courses to use the heavy duty Gateway Titan baskets, but I just dislike the feel of putting into the really heavy chains and the super deep baskets, but this isn't a knock on the course specifically.

Other Thoughts:

The course could use a few longer holes, there were only 2 holes I really uncorked drives on, other than that it's a lot of placement and you can score pretty well.

Technical Juggernaut 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 8, 2013 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Technical - Challenging - Great Variety of Shots - Elevation Changes - Mental Test - Concrete Tee Pads - Good Baskets - Water Fountains - Trash Cans - Restrooms - Gas Station at Park Entrance - Easy to get to

Endicott is a very challenging course with a lot of technical shots. There are very few (if any) "gimmie holes" even with pins in their shortest positions. Please do no be swayed by the inaccurate review below. Each hole has its own set of basket placements and none of them are shared by other holes. Some of the furthest placements can get close to the next tee pads, but I would never say you're in any sort of danger of being hit.
The holes are spread through trees that create very narrow fairways. Some of them are cut through the woods and only provide a 30' wide fairway. I'll say it again, this is a very technical course and not for the faint of heart. You're need to bring accuracy and patience to shoot well at Endicott. That said, playing Endicott on a regular basis will absolutely make you a better disc golfer. The course amenities are also pretty good with concrete tee pads, Mach 3 baskets, restrooms, water fountains, trash cans and retaining walls and steps where there are hills. Also, there is a Quick Trip (the Wal-Mart of gas stations) at the entrance of the park, so you can stop for anything you need or run there between rounds if you need anything. Endicott is also right off Interstate 170 and only minutes from highway 70 and the airport so it is very easy to get to from just about any part of town.

Cons:

Parking - Graffiti - Corwded at times

Due to the location of the course in the park, there isn't really any good place to park near the course. The "disc golf" parking lot is at the end of hole 18, so you can't really run to the car between the front and back without a little hike. This isn't really a problem, because you can always re-fill your water bottle at the drinking fountain by hole 1, which is at the top of hole 9.
There seems to be a lot of graffiti on the course, especially on picnic tables at secluded/wooded tee pads. Unfortunately, this is not from outside sources, but rather from idiotic disc golfers that sit at these tables to "chill" and draw stupid shit on the tables that make us all look like idiots. Its not a "con" of the course, but does annoy me to see this crap at what is otherwise a very clean, well-maintained park/course.
Endicott can be crowded at times, but there were only a handful of people playing there this Sunday afternoon, so its not always packed, like some other courses are.

Other Thoughts:

If you're visiting St. Louis, this is a must play. The challenge with have you thinking and re-thinking almost every shot. The tight fairways will get in your head and challenge even the most accurate players. There is a good reason we have the Final 9 at Endicott every year for the St. louis Open A-Tier

2nd only to JB in STL 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 18, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

I rate this course a solid 4. Of the courses I've played around STL I'd rate it second only to Jefferson Barracks, which is probably my favorite course I've played anywhere as far as hole layout. The tees are excellent with good markers to the next treat the baskets on some more confusing ones. Love the variety and challenge. Hole 7, I think, had a unique tee location on top of a knoll.

Cons:

Although I enjoyed the challenging layouts it would help first timers to have maps at the tees to avoid having to guess or scout ahead. Lacks long distance holes.

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 14, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Excellent workout! The course goes uphill, downhill, and you get the occasional flat hole just when you need to catch your breath
-Nice variety of holes regarding tree obstacles, layout, etc.
-Easily accessible from the freeway if you're an out-of-towner; not too hard to get lost
-Strikes a balance between being challenging but not overly challenging... a hard balance to achieve

Cons:

-The navigation can be difficult for first-timers. I got lost a few times, but was always able to find my way eventually. A previous reviewer mentioned the bricks with arrows pointing to the next tee, but I had a hard time finding them, and when I did, the paint was so raided that it was difficult to make out where I was supposed to go next.
-While there is a great variety of wooded and open holes (and everything in between), it felt like almost every hole had the same length. I would have loved to have seen a technical 150-footer or two mixed in, not to mention a tight 500-600 hole.

Other Thoughts:

This is a great course - if it were my home course, I'd be spoiled when trying others for the first time. While I wasn't able to try out other courses in the St. Louis area, I wouldn't be surprised if Endicott is among the best in the city.

Very Diverse, Exciting Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 15, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-This may be the most diverse course in St. Louis. There are short, wooded holes as well as a few long, wide open distance holes. They weave together perfectly and make for one of the more unique courses in the STL area.
-Like the other courses in St. Louis, there are multiple pin positions for each hole and they are changed quite frequently. The distances are marked at the tee pad and you can see most of the holes from the tee pad or a few steps off.
-The flow and layout of the holes is very nice. It is very smooth and you will have very little trouble other than finding the first hole, which is by the big patio type thing right by the playground.
-All the baskets are Gateway Titans, and there is a practice Titan by the playground with putting markers that spiral out from 10 feet to 50 feet, one of the most unique features of this course.
- Can be very difficult. You can go from being under par to ruining your round in just a few holes, so think about all your throws before you throw.

Cons:

-While a lot of people think this is one of, if not the best course in the area, I still think JB is far and away better. Even though there are some long holes here, the average length of a hole is probably somewhere around 300 feet.
-The course can get backlogged sometimes during the summer and can result in some very slow play.
-The tee pads of some holes are directly behind the pins of some holes. This can result in people having to putt with a person driving in their background. This may not be a problem for some people, but I like to have nothing behind the basket to focus on the chains themselves.

Other Thoughts:

While this is a great course, I still believe JB or Sioux are the 2 best courses in St. Louis. However, this course is a lot closer to the city than Sioux is and it is still a great course that is different than both the other 2. Absolutely check this out if you find yourself in the STL area.

Intermediate/Expert 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 5, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Course is set in a hilly park with lots of mature trees. Good use of the available space to maximize hole length and variety.
- Almost every hole has a large number of high canopy trees to avoid off the tee and through the fairways, which adds significant challenge and demands good accuracy. There are also many spots with extremely dense rough that must be avoided at all costs. This provides a large number of pretty well protected baskets, so nearly every shot has some tree or forested area to contend with.
- Elevation changes are a factor on many holes, both through the fairway and near the baskets. Many long, sloping fairways add to the challenge and the overall fun factor. There are some longer uphill and downhill bomber holes to let it rip, a pretty good mix overall. The sloped greens add even more challenge to already protected baskets.
- Other hazards include a very small creek on a few holes, not really a major factor but still something to watch out for.
- The alternate pin positions add pretty significant length and challenge on many holes. I can see why this park is qualified to host top-tier events, with downright nasty pin placements (in a good way, of course).
- Good tees and baskets.

Cons:

- The terrain is pretty consistent throughout the entire park, so you better get used to lots of trees and thick rough. From the start to the finish, not much changes in terms of the scenery.
- There are holes that have an obvious lane to the basket, but most of the time it is just a matter of avoiding trees and the rough. Line shaping is definitely key, but there are usually many different lines that can be taken. So, there aren't too many holes that require a specific type of shot.
- Tee signs are very basic - a list of the different positions and distances, with a bolt to signify the current placement. Bolts were sometimes in the wrong hole, or missing altogether, which could be frustrating the first time through. Course can be tricky to navigate the first time, make sure to get a scorecard or study the map.

Other Thoughts:

- A very solid course that uses the hilly terrain to its full potential. Lots of trees and other hazards to avoid along the way, with some protected baskets and fast greens. Personally, I really liked the layout and was very pleased with the variety of holes. Even though the land and obstacles are pretty uniform throughout the park, each hole had its own challenge and feel. I felt it definitely rewarded accuracy over length, though a combination of both can lead to some pretty low scores.
- A good course for all skill levels, especially with the different pin positions.

Best par 3 in St. LOuis 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 21, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is a really fun course. Snake through the trees, or try to find an alternate approach. Elevation change and lots of trees make all holes a challenge. Most holes offer a chance for birdie, but all holes can easily be a bogey. Even if you don't have a big arm you can still post it up on #5's 350' downhill bomb. If you do have a big arm try to post it up on #14's open 425'. #3 is probably my favorite. It is a 300' downhill shot with lots of trees. You can find a line backhand or forehand. Watch out for #7 and #12, par will feel like a bird. You will use all of your shots and all of your disks on this course.

This is one of the courses that is home to The St. Louis Open. There are 4' x 10' concrete tee pads, with 3 different pin placements. Amenities include; benches at every hole, a practice basket, toilets and drinking fountain at the 1st tee / 10th tee, and bbq grills at the pavilion.

Cons:

There are only 2 problems. It is muddy in the spring. However, The St. Louis Disc Golf Club has done work to redirect the runoff water. It is also hard to navigate for the first time player. Get a score card from the kiosk at the 1st tee.

Other Thoughts:

They have a league on Monday night. I don't know if they close the course or not.

Print a map off on the links tab on this page it helped my first time..and good luck finding the number 7 basket a really tough par 3.

Lots of Lost discs 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 1, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This course gives a great amount of challenge to everyone. They move the baskets every couple weeks, which does mean that the course does change. The baskets have three different placements, A (am), B (advance am), and C (pro). Since putting in the three pin placements the course have never been all A, or B, or C. Course layout is nice with a lot of trees, creeks, and hills.
Hole 1 is next to the pavillion and the basket is down the hill. This is one of the easier holes, yet it is still tree ridden. Hole 2 is back up the hill never the tee for 1. This normally takes 3-5 shots due to the hill and trees. Hole 3 is near the road and the basket is down the hill towards to creek. The tree in front of the tee can bee a difficult one to decide what to do at, left or right. I have seen people go both ways, but to the right work better for many of them. There are also a few baskets down there occationally, so if you feel a safe game is in order, shot down the hill and then determine which basket is the correct one. Hole 4 is across the creek. Watch out because if it has rained for a couple days the creek can get high and cause lots of mud. 4 does have two pin placements near the creek, up the hill, near the large tree. The other pin placement is up the hill and in a grove of trees to the right slightly. This one can be hard to see at certain times of the day due to the sun. This hole is one of the easier ones on this course, but it can be challenging due to the creek and trees. Hole 5 is down the road to the right from the basket for 4. The basket is located down near the group of trees. If you cannot see it is further down and hidden by the trees, or it is lcated past the trees to the right. Do watch out, if your disc goes into one of the yards it could be a lost cause due to large disc eating dogs. Hole 6's tee is back down near hole 4's tee, near the creek. This hole is difficult no matter where the basket is. Sometimes you can see the basket and other times you can't, but it tends to be located near the edge of the creek and away from hole 4. The trees along the creek do eat discs, so try to not throw into them. Once again if it has rained recently this hole could be flooded. Hole 7 is back across the creek, near the tee for 2. This hole is difficult. When shooting out there are two trees near the tee, a small clearing past them, and then lots of woods. The basket is down though the trees, but the first trees can ruin this hole adding an extra shot. If the basket cannot be seen once you are down the wood, it is located up a steep hill and cannot be seen. I suggest a tomahauk to get up the hill. Hole 8 is where many stop for a break, the tee is though the woods (down the hill and thought the woods if the basket for 7 is up the hill). It runs next to hole 7, so watch your head. The basket is located though the trees, there is a nice path but it is narrow, and out into the field. The hole can be near the tee for 9, or 2, or near the basket for 3, depending where pin it is located at. Hole 9's tee is up the hill from hole 2's tee. The basket is located up the hill near the baseball diamond. This hole has lots of tree, but you can see lots of paths though them. Hole 10's tee is near hole 9's basket, so once again watch your head. The basket is located through the trees near the baseball diamond and to the left. You should be able to see the tee for 14 here, the basket will be to the left. Hole 11 is back down the hill near the tee for 9. The basket is located through the two sets of trees (sometimes it is easier to go around to the right of the trees), and deeper into the woods. The basket does move, but the pins are close to each other.
Hole 12 is back into the woods. You can see the basket for 7 if it is in the pin on top of the hill. When you come out of the wood from hole 11, watch your head, becasue the tee is to the left and the basket is to the right. The basket from the tee is located down through the dense forest (trees and brush) and slightly to the right at the very end. To get to hole 13, go thought the woods and up the hill. Once you have found the tee, the basket will be straight and toward the left at the end. Watch out because the disc gods will keep your disc at this hole if you go into the woods. This hole has a great deal of difficultly, so beware.
Hole 14 is dangerous to get to, so watch your head. You have to go back down hole 13 part of the way and then up the hill. The tee is located on the edge of a baseball diamond, but it is rare to see anyone playing on this baseball diamond. The basket is located down the field (follow the tree line), and into the woods at the other end of the field. You can see another basket from the tee and the field this is a practice basket for putting and is near the playground. From the basket for 14 go towards to playground/sand volleyball pit. Hole 15 tee is near the valleyball pit. When walking from 14 look down the hill and into the woods, you should be able to see the basket for 15 down in one of the tree lined coves. Make sure to do this, or you may not know where to shoot. 15 has tree near the tee and one tree that many people have hit, the tree is scared from the discs hitting it. Hole 16 is located though the woods to the right of 15's basket. From the tee the basket can be several places. I suggest shooting out though the large tree and the tree line. You will have to shoot up the hill and the basket could be right there, but it can also be located down across the walking path. You can yell fore, but most non-golfers ignore the warning. Hole 17 is down next to the edge of the walking path and the creek. The basket located down the creek, but on the other side of the creek. There is a concrete turtle with no head at the tree line that scares most people that don't know it is there. The bridge across the creek to between a couple bushes. Once across the bridge look along the tree line for the basket. It could be near the top of the hill, or the bottom near the creek. This is a difficult hole becasue of the tree and not being able to see the basket. Hole 18 is up the hill for 17's basket and in a little alcove. You can see interstate 170 from the tee. the basket is located down near the parking lot and/or edge of the creek and/or tennis courts. This hole can be difficult if thrown wrong. The tree branch in front of the tee can be a problem along with all the trees near the basket. This is an epic hole because by this time you have gone up and down lots of hills and played in alot of trees lines and filled passages.

Cons:

Holes 3, 4, 6, 7 and 17 do flood sometimes when there has been rain for a couple of days.
Hole 7 does have a pin placement up on top of a steep hill that is dangerous to go back down to get to hole 8.
Holes 12, 13, 14, and 15 have a large hazzard of losing discs. I have seen a friend launch his disc out on 13 or maybe it was 14 into the near by interstate, but not many people can get a disc to go that far.
If you end up in the woods look up also, because the tree gods like to keep discs.

Other Thoughts:

I play this course often and it does tend to get a bit crowded on nice days with large groups. I suggest playing early in the morning before the crowds show up. A lot of large group also reserve the pavillion near the playground and hole one, so it can be loud.

Terrific Technical Challenge 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 28, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- Pleasantly wooded park; it always feels about 10 degrees cooler than in the city

- Deliciously difficult technical requirements; you'll be using every disc in the bag (except maybe your distance drivers)

- Beautifully maintained course with fine concrete tee pads

- 3 or 4 rotating pin positions per hole, so it's never the same course twice

- Not nearly as difficult to navigate as some of these other reviews suggest. Most holes are right next to the antecedent fairway and marked by posts

Cons:

- Will not be your favorite course if you simply like to throw it really far. Requires some skill!

- Easier course for forehanders than backhanders

- It's a difficult course, so it can be frustrating if you have a short temper. If you play this course a few times, chances are you'll lose at least one disc in the woods.

- Poison ivy, especially on the back nine

- Woods = Mosquitoes. Also tends to be a little bit muddy after rain

Other Thoughts:

I've played this course hundreds of times in the past few years, yet it keeps bringing me back for more

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 3, 2008 Played the course:never

Pros:

This course offers players a very decent amount of variety, ranging from wide open elevated tee shots that soar for days to very long and tight fairways through the woods that gobble up errant discs left and right. Multiple tee placements offer additional variety, and the holes make great use of the terrain.

To truly master this course you will need a good combination of distance, control and patience. The park is full of trees, and there are very few holes where they do not come into play.

A creek runs along many of the holes, and can come into play on the poorly placed shot.

Overall, very fun and challenging.

Cons:

There is a bit of repetition on some of the holes on the back 9. The course can also be a bit hard to navigate, but common sense will get you through it. A few fairways run a little close together, so keep your head on a swivel.

Make sure you bring the bug spray as the mosquitoes, particularly along the creek, tend to be quite thick.

Other Thoughts:

This course is definitely one that should be avoided by the easily discouraged or short tempered player, as it really does require a lot of patience to enjoy. There are tons of trees...which you will hit...often. There are lots of places to lose discs...which you will lose.

If you can deal with that...definitely play this course. If you can't...try somewhere else.

Awesome 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 25, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

Very challenging course, the trees and elevation changes will test you skills. Great elevation changes that will make you think about what to throw. Right off the bat you are faced with a 300 ft downhill with trees all the way down, then the second hole is a huge uphill hole that you have to put everything you have into to make it to the basket in two. Three different pin placements make the course different every time you play it. Corridor hole that is over 400 feet, will make you want to quit!!

Cons:

Can be hard to navigate if its your first time. situated at the bottom of a hill so it takes some time to dry out.

Other Thoughts:

Great place to learn the game, there is always someone you can partner up with.
