Chance to choose your poison and air it out a little: hole 8 is long enough for most arms Rec and under to reach for their driver. Tip: check the wind out in the open, which might be blowing differently than on the woods pocketed tee.

The trick to hole 7 (after making sure any group ahead of you has cleared the green) is to get something gliding gently right, but staying in the lane. Tree kicks near the top of the ridge can make for a difficult approach off either side. My rhbh arm likes to turn over a Fuse up the gut.

The most open part of the fairway goes straight out off the tee, but you'll need some height and glide fading in left to get all the way there. My arm seeks a Teebird (rhbh), but better players can choose an OS mid (some might use a putt and approach, like a Zone).

Right handers need to turn one over fairly long to get all the way to the pin. Left handers can use their natural line and the zero foliage approach and green to skip right in to the basket. Caution: be aware that tee shots cutting in too early can get over to where folks wait on the next tee.

I'm throwing a snap mid to fairway driver on this hole despite it being fairly short, because you need to hit the middle of the gap on a rope. Don't worry about long, the rocks at the dam wall tend to keep overthrows on the green. Also, avoiding tree trouble by going way right and fading in left can still pt you on the green.

To make up for hole 2, this shot goes left to right, with a bit of distance (250+) needed to go before turning right around the last few hidden branches. For my weaker arm, I've got to throw a turnover driver (rhbh), but lefties with a bit of a gun can get this tee shot there all day long. Again, a roller takes the trees at the bend out of play.

With the overhanging branch and trees on the left side, this hole requires a firm shot to go deep and to the right, with a fade into the hillside to get in close. Tough line for lhbh throwers.

The left of the three tees adjacent to the end parking area, hole 1 plays longer than expected due to the constricting lane and low line needed. As a right hander, I try to snap my Tern firmly down the right side of the lane, hoping for it to scoot past the clump of trees just to the right of the fairway, fade a little left, and skip up as close as possible. I've also seen some wily verterans go for this one with a roller.
