Pros:
- Easy to get to
- New Concrete short and long teepads on every hole
- Chainstar baskets that are new and catch well
- For as small of a park as this is they used every bit of it to give us a great course.
- A good mix of long and short holes. There are a lot of mid and fairway shots but there are a few distance driver shots. Its nice to see a good variety on only a 9 hole course. I had to use a lot of different discs in my bag which is usually not the case for a 9 hole course.
- You can tell that the designers of the course knew what they were doing. Over all its a fun 9 hole with the opportunity for 18 different holes with the long and short pads.
Cons:
- Hole 9. WTF. So there is enough room here to make this a real hole but instead its just gimmicky and I dont play now when I play this course. The hole about 80' diagonally left off the long pad and maybe 50' off the short. But they decided to but 2 separate mandos out there so you pretty much have to play the hole like a horse shoe. I would consider it a par 4 because of the shape of the hole but its just a dumb hole. A 200' wide open hole would be better then what is here. Kind of sour ending to a great 9 hole course.
- No teesigns, but not sure if this will be an issue much longer since it seems like this course just got put in so I assume that teesigns are coming. But for now they are not there.
- Not sure how much of a negative this is as well but the long tees are the standard length but they actually made the short tees shorter by a few feet. I would be nice to have regular sized short pads but its not too much of an issue since a huge run up isnt needed from the shorts.
Other Thoughts:
Overall the course is a lot of fun to play and is a great course to practice on since there are a lot of different shots needed to score well and its just an overall fun course minus hole 9. Id suggest going to play this nine hole course if you are in the area.
