Pros:

(1.076 Rating) (RE-EVALUATED) A lesson in how not to design a course.
- WHY THE REVISION - For some time now, I've felt I gave this course too low of score. On my original review for Falcon Pointe, I took off extra points for things that I would no longer do. Even though this is indeed a bad course, I feel it's better than my initial 0.5 score.
- ACEABILITY - One of a few highlights that I had here was pinging one off the basket on (4). Numerous holes are highly aceable as many of distances are under 250 feet and void of trees.
- CHAINS - The baskets are in great shape. One my favorite types, DISCatchers,
- HOLE 15 - This is the one stand-out hole. It plays along a concrete dam structure.
- LOCATION - A 10 minute drive from I35 and only a couple minutes drive from the highway 45 toll way.
- QUICK PLAY - A single can easily complete a full 18 in under an hour. Groups of 4 probably would finish in under two hours.

Cons:

The cons are many and significant and were magnified by a 2016 reconfiguration.
- TEES - Sadly, they were all poured in the wrong direction, thus only 4 feet long. The first of many sins a player will notice when they play here.
- BASKET AND TEE SEPERATION - There are numerous occurrences where the basket and next tee are perilously close. Several times they are separated by less than 20 feet.
- CHARACTER - Non-existent. To start, there are tee pads and baskets missing on the back nine due to home construction, and according to sources I have in the area, this is still the case in 2019. There is also no tee shading, no seating, no map, no community board, no practice basket, no hole signage, no shelter, no extra tees and no everything one can think of. There are great baskets and tee pads pointing the wrong direction. That's it.
- FORGIVENESS - Also due to home construction, some baskets were relocated closer to the water. As in 10 feet from the water. With the wind howling like it normally does here, Players will seriously consider putting the disc back in the bag on a few holes.
- MAINTENANCE - The rest of the park seems to get a lot more love than the course itself. I was greeted with knee high grass on holes (5) thru (9). Apparently this has been an ongoing issue, especially during wet periods.
- NAVIGATION - Navigation is pretty bad, but playable. There is no map to be found. I located many baskets driving in, but I did not find hole (1) right away. Tee (1) is on the north end of the park and it's 250 feet west of the street parking. There are no directional cues or hole signage. Thankfully the baskets are yellow and numbered. Yeah DISCatchers.
- ELEVATION - Really none to speak of. This is not really typically for the Austin area. Total elevation change is less than 10 feet throughout the entire course.
- UNIQUENESS - The holes themselves are lacking the uniqueness that one would find on the average 18 hole course. The course is extremely short, although not as short as nearby Wells Branch. Most of the holes are wide open straight field plays or shots with the pond on the left side.
- FINISH - Hole (18) finishes a quarter mile from tee (1)
- WIND - Due to the lack of trees, wind will likely be a major issue. 30 mph gusts during my visit.

Other Thoughts:

A horrible disc golf experience. 367 courses played as of this re-evaluation, and even with my substantial bump up in score, it's still one of my lowest scored 18 hole courses. Nothing was done right here other than picking out high quality baskets. I don't advise anyone coming here unless a player can check off one of the following reasons. 1. Course layout borders the backyard. 2. Hardcore course bagger. 3. Enjoys playing train wreck courses.

Pros:

.......YAWN......

Cons:

tee boxes, alot of unnecessary brush on the 4 holes on the back 9

Other Thoughts:

if you make an ace on this course, it should not be considered...if you have an ace pot going, someone will get an ace during the 18

Pros:

Lots of practice with your putter.

Cons:

Tee boxes facing nowhere. Short holes. Trees can be mowed over. Water on a few holes. By a school.

Other Thoughts:

Nothing longer than 300ft. Basically its a field with some baskets and concrete strips all over it.
