Pros:
- Simply beautiful course, I couldn't even be mad when I got my first throw stuck in a tree cuz it was a really beautiful tree
- Tee signs
- Course map provided by the pro shop
- Concrete tee boxes for the pro tees, and black rubber tee pads for the recreation tees
-- Some holes have one tee for both
- Has red baskets for recreation players and blue baskets for pro players
-- Some holes have one basket for both
- Easily the most maintained course I've ever played
- Hole design is great, each one makes excellent use of the land
-- There's plenty of open and wooded holes
-- Hole 15 does a great job playing with elevation
- Pro shop on the course that sells cold drinks, discs, water retrievers, etc.
- Plenty of bathrooms
- Plenty of parking
Cons:
- Poison ivy in the ravines, watch yourself!
- There's a lack of trash receptacles on the course
- Not a lot of shade, bring a hat and a lot of water
Other Thoughts:
It's $20 to play but that also gives you a wine tasting you can redeem before, after, or between nines. There's also a $40 option that comes with a pizza and glass of wine.
Be wary of the wildlife. We ran into a lone coyote that yelped at us before running off.
This course is long! A group of four of us took about 3 hours to get through the whole thing.
Pokemon Go: There are two stops near the pro shop.
