Pros:

This is an easy, simple to follow course with good tee pads, signs, and baskets. It's almost always easy to tell where the next tee pad is, and with good signs, you'll know instantly if you're at the right spot.

There's some elevation change around the basket on 3 and 7 which makes rollaways possible and a long tee on 8 that makes a fun downhill shot.

There's not much lost disc potential, making this a good course for beginners. Only a few holes are over 300 feet, so for better players, this makes a good place to practice open upshots.

Cons:

Only a few holes (1 and 5) have trees in the way that force you to take a specific line, and both of those are RHFH/LHBH friendly. On the rest of the holes, there are just some short trees that pretty much don't come into play and still allow for almost every line imaginable.

Hole 5 borders the fence with I-35, but the shape of the fairway makes it unlikely you would fly over it.

Only hole 8 from the long tee plays up or down a hill, and combined with the lack of trees, makes several holes (2, 6, 8 short, 9) that are completely uninteresting.

Other Thoughts:

This course makes a quick round, and if you want more challenge, you can play the safari layout linked in the files section here. It adds distance, but not much in the way of obstacles, and brings in more roads and light poles into play. But with so little variety and distance, there's not much reason to come here if you're looking for real challenge.

It's on college property. I'm not sure how that will affect the parking situation if school is in session, or if bathrooms are available to the public.
