You may want to consider the low tight route on hole 8. The high route is tempting but with the swirly winds usually present and the danger of O.B. all along the right line you`re better off firing a rocket down the middle never getting higher than the fence.

Of special note is the thick woods on the right side of the fairway. Once you`re in there it is a challenge just to get back out. As an added penalty - it IS LOADED with hundreds of cactus, some of them 6 feet tall. STAY OUT!

The teepads are elevated so you are throwing downhill. Keep your drive below the height of the fence and you`ll never breach the mando, plus your shot won`t hyzer off toward the pond as much.

This hole plays a little tricky especially from the Red Pad because you know you want that birdie to finish up. The best way to get past those palm trees protecting the pin is to do a bombing spike hyzer over the right side or left side. But be careful not to flatten it out and glide too far - across the cart path is O.B. The frequent left to right wind wants to push the disc down hard for a righty hyzer so give your shot some extra height if you want to get it there.

The wind is almost always at your back on this hole and it is often perfect for a big anhyzer shot. So its late in the game and your all loose and warmed up and that wind is calling your name. Take this big shot out wide left and give it all you got with some nice forward penetration and you can reach this hole from the Red Pad to the regular placement. There`s nothing like birdieing that 435 foot hole on your way out!

This hole is a little longer than 15 from the red pad, but the same goes for it as for hole 15 from all pads. So I am taking the liberty of copying and pasting from Hole 15 tip:

Whatever you do, no matter what the hole looks like, you will want to play this hole a little long. For one, there is almost always a headwind here which stalls your shot making it harder to reach this hole than you think. Secondly, the shoreline recedes away from the tee pad on the left and right so if you are not on the line your drive needs to be longer.

Personally I take the original distance and add 30-50 feet to it to try to make sure I`m a little long. This usually leaves me parked or just a little long.

Everyone wants a birdie here of course. Take the long birdie, not the short one.

One more thing - I prefer to play the righty hyzer route because it finishes away from the water hazard on the right. The straight and turnover routes are very tempting but that headwind tries to make the disc finish right - towards the water hazard. Not good.

From the Red Pad keep your drive low and penetrating to skip off the green for an easy birdie.

For the Blue and Gold Pads use the same strategy on your upshots - keep your shot low and skip off the green to the basket.

On hole 10, especially for the Red Pad, the smartest play is a 180 foot drive to the gap and 180 foot approach to the basket for an easy drop-in 3. Only go for the birdie if you are perfectly confident in your drive. The slope pulls you down toward the Gator Gulch. There are many a lost favorite disc sitting in the bottom of the Gator`s Lair. Save your disc and save your par by not being greedy on this hole. I guarantee you`re making up strokes on someone.

Play the Blue Pad the same way - lay up to the gap - unless you are Will Shusterick. Make your easy up shot and take your 3. No need to go for it here if you aren`t going to birdie it anyway. 3 is a great score on this one.

From the red pad the bunker on this hole is like a moon crater and gravity will suck you into it. Throw your drive longer than you think is necessary, say 290 or 300, and you`ll clear it. Anything less is in the crater.
