A small city park with a variety of natural and man made obstacles, appears well kept and I doubt it gets very crowded.

Amenities. City park with bathrooms, picnic areas and shelters, tennis courts.

Variety. Decent variety of shots in a pitch and putt course, most holes require a line through the trees, even a hole over the top (or around) the tennis courts, I really enjoyed that throw, as its a challenge that most courses don't offer.

Beginner Friendly. On a course full of ace runs and birdie opportunities, it would be an ok place to learn and practice the game, though would soon get boring.

Clean and well maintained.

A miniature train. I walked along the tracks, I bet that if the train is running in the warmer months it would add a special character to this course.

The coolest part of this park is that it's named after my dog.

Other User Areas. Some of the holes may be unplayable or require a different attack if there's park users around, like using the tennis courts.

Baskets. Home made with layers of yellow paint, didn't look real nice, nor did they catch well.

Length. About what you can expect from a pitch and putt, most drivers can stay in the car.

Tees. Natural tee pads are mostly in good shape and suit this course ok, the tee signs have seen better days, only a couple of them have the original map if you can make out what it says.

Though it was an enjoyable 9 holes I probably wouldn't play this course again (unless the train was running, I'd stop by to check that out) when Glenwood park is just down the road. It makes an ok practice course or a stop for a quick round if you don't have much time.
