Pros:

Very quiet since it is on private property.
Has a lefty backhand/righty forehand bias. Probably more so than any other course in the St. Louis area. Reason enough for you leftys to try it since the vast majority of courses are built around a RHBH bias (which is understandable as 85% or so of the people on this planet are right-handed, but i digress).
You'll definitely get a good workout as the course meanders up and down and up and down the hills behind the house the owners live in.
Mostly short/technical holes, which is awesome for me as i have a weenie arm.
Shot variety abounds. Backhand, forehand, spike hyzers, rollers all have a place on this course. You'll expand your tommy/thumber game too if you get too far off the fairways.
Even given a lack of directional signs, the layout is pretty easy to follow.
Porta-potty by the parking area. Please use it and stop sh*tting on the course.

Cons:

It does have 18 holes, but to call them "baskets" is a bit of a stretch. Some of them (at least last time I was there) were nothing more than a chopped-off 55 gallon drum with some chain sticking out the top. They have had various charity tournaments out there to raise funds, but as of my last visit, there's still plenty of money-raising to do. (I will modify/delete this part of the review if appropriate, the next time I go there and check the good basket count.)

Lots of places to stub your toe.

Plenty of mud to slip and fall in after a rain. Going there after a storm is NOT recommended.

Mosquitos live there by the thousands (I'm sure there's plenty of ticks there too). Wear long sleeves and pants and generously apply your bug spray of choice beforehand.

Litter. Why people litter, period, is beyond me. Why you'd do it on someone's property who is letting you play there for free is mind-numbingly f*cking stupid. Pack out what you take in you f*cking ingrates! (There aren't a lot of trash cans on the course, but this I understand. Anything tossed into those cans basically has to be hauled out by hand.)

Other Thoughts:

An awesome course that just needs a little investment/massaging to be even better. Don't view my cons section too harshly as Travis and Co. have basically built this course out of their own pockets.

Next time they have an event there (especially a basket-funds-raising tournament), go check it out!
