Pros:
+two sets of tees including the super-short beginner length red tees and the tricky but short blue tees
+Dynamic Patriot baskets in great condition
+big variety of shot shapes...I use just about every disc in my bag out here
+only course for miles with fairways as tight as many of these
+lots of shade
+hole 4 is picturesque with a hanging basket surrounded by trees and set right next to a road which is an inviting advertisement for disc golf
+less than 5 minutes from interstate 10
+quick playing rounds with little walking in between holes except between 18 & 1
Cons:
-doesn't drain the best, holds a good bit of casual water puddles after frequent Louisiana rains, not super muddy though
-almost a 1/4 mile walk between hole 18 and 1
-mosquitos around in warmer months, bring bug spray
-pretty short and really flat
-no course map
Other Thoughts:
While it is a very short course, Fritchie is no walk in the park from the longer blue tees, with really tight fairways. I'd say a lot of the fairways here are about as tight as they can be without being unfairly lucky. If you are the master of your midrange disc, you can park any hole out here down these 8-10 foot wide lanes and light up the scoreboard. There are a few more open holes though that still require accurate lines to reach the baskets.
So many different shots out here. Spike hyzers, short and long forehands, backhand "s" shots, plus a long open par 4 with OB left and thick forest on the right. I even throw short sharp rollers out here on a couple holes. What Fritchie lacks in amenities, it makes up for in variety; the golf is good out here even if the tee signs are average at best, the teepads are only gravel, and it can get a little wet.
