Nice Little Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 14, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Nice Tee Signs on all 18 holes
-Diamond rubber teepads. They're small, but are the best rubber pads out there.
-Bright red new Chainstar Pros
-Seems to be well taken care of
-Navigation was simple with big arrows everywhere
-Trash Cans
-Decent enough variety of short shots
-Great for kids/family/short game
-Hole 9 is beautiful.

Cons:

-The #6/7/8 area could be quite a problem if the course gets busy. It would be extremely easy to have discs hit you from all angles as these 3 tees/fairways are very close to each other.
-Some holes you have to walk back up and/or across the fairway you just completed. Nothing is blind here so there shouldn't be much danger.
-Could use some benches
-Hole #17

Other Thoughts:

The family and I decided to stop here on our way home from up north. Overall, it turned out to be a great decision. There were only a couple other people out there and we had a great time. This course is great for the family, or great for putter/midrange only rounds. It's definitely not a long course, but it will still test some of your short game. Some of the fairways in the woods are fairly narrow, but still manageable.

Besides kind of disliking the proximity of #'s 6/7/8 to one another, the one other hole that I cringed at was hole 17. Toss your putter out to the open area and then upshot 90 degrees or more to the left. If you threw straight too far, you would nail everyone on the 18th tee. If the group on hole 16 threw 3 feet to the left of their fairway, you were getting pegged while putting on 17.

Overall, we had a great time here and I would play again if I was in the area and looking for a family round, short game round, or quick round in general.
