Pros:
Well maintaned easy to find and follow, with nice map and scorecard online. Dirt tee pads with hard-to-miss red posts marking them. Great for a quick round or two and easy enough for those being introduced to the game.
Cons:
$7 entry fee to the park. Course is very compact with drive on # 2 going right past pin for # 6, which right on top of Tee pad for # 7. Older baskets with one row of chains, not sure they will stop a long hard putt. May need to be careful if crowded.
Other Thoughts:
Played this course at 7:30 AM while my wife ran the Green Lakes Ultra. The course was empty & quite beautiful with the rising sun. My drive on # 2 startled a doe wihich in turn startled me. Had to wait on # 7 while a doe and fawn sprinted across the course. Some of the most interesting baskets I've ever seen..... Lots of deceptively close pins but with enough obstacles to be a challange (at least for me) Signature hole is a toss up between # 2 with the top of the basket just visible over a short undulating path, and # 6 with a thread-the-needle theme. This would be a great course to introduce a bunch of non-players to disc golf, especially if you were already in the park for some other reason. Not sure I would come here just for the disc golf course, but a fun time nonetheless.
