Carroll County, The land of the 1.5 disc course

Pros:
+9 baskets that are all present and doing their jobs well.
+9 marked tees
+Overall a very nice park with playground, baseball field, bathrooms (in concession stand behind baseball field), shelter, sand volleyball, tennis court, basketball court.
+Shouldn't lose a disc here.
+Good for newer players and kids to learn the game.
+More trees than most city parks.

Cons:
-Quite flat
-Not enough trees to force any lines. Not much variety in type of throw required. You can hyzer or throw a straight shot on most holes.
-Natural pads
-Hole 9 plays close to the playground
-On the shorter side. Most holes felt pretty similar.

Other Thoughts:
+A course for the baggers. Not on a major highway. Not really worth driving 6 miles each way off Highway 30. It's fine, is what it is. A small town Iowa course. There's a lot of them out there. This one is a lower end dime a dozen type.
