Worst Course in the Twin Cities 2+ years

Pros:
There are a few pros for the course but not very many. The course has nice new tee signs that show the distance and graphic representation of the flight line to the basket. The baskets are also new and are high quality. There are concrete tee pads on all 9 holes.
Cons:
There are many problems and cons with the course. First, while the course has tee signs with distances listed the distances do not seem to be anywhere close to correct especially on the four wood holes. I believe who ever measured the course used GPS coordinates and took a straight-line distance between the two sets of coordinates instead of the actual flight path. Hole 8 for example is listed as 200 feet on the tee sign, which may be correct if a straight line is taken from the tee sign to the basket which would involve throwing through thick untrimmed rough and trees. The actual fairway runs up a hill for about 40 feet than turns at a ninety degree angle and runs another 210-220 feet to the basket.
The course may have concrete tee pads but the tee pads are completely inadequate in their length. The first seven holes have about three and half foot long tee pads. The last two holes have two foot by two foot squares to throw off of. On hole 8 the tee sign is located 6 inches in front of the two foot by two foot tee pad. On hole 9 the tee pad is located in the rough with thick bushes surrounding three sides of the tee pad and forces you to throw RHBH anhyzer to try and reach the basket that is located to the right. The tee pads often sloped either downhill or uphill so it was unlevel. In addition, with the short length of the tee pads it would have been nice if the tee pads were level with the ground so you take a longer run up. Most of the time there was two to three inch step up from the ground to the tee pad.
It seems like there was no real design work on the course and instead baskets were randomly placed around the campus. This is especially true on four of the last five holes. 5, 6, 8, and 9.
The course based on the length appeared to be for beginners but the way the course was laid out made it highly unlikely any beginner would keep playing after finishing hole 5.
The problems with the design of the course started on hole 1. Hole 1 had some really strange design ideas. While I do not mind throwing overhand it seemed strange to open the course with a forced overhand shot. The tee was set back about 20 feet from a 50 foot high tree line with no flight path through it so you had to go over the top.
The next three holes made sense from design point. Hole 5 needed to have some of the pine trees trimmed and the fairway on the left hook to the basket trimmed.
Hole 6 was the worse hole on the course and the design flaws really showed through on the hole. Hole 6 has about a three foot wide walking path to throw down with thick rough on the right and bushes and trees lining a scum cover pond on the left. There were spots on the trail that were very overgrown shrinking the flight line even more. The walking path bent to the left around the pond than went a few to the right and straight up a thickly forested hill with the basket set in the deep rough on the right of the top of the hill. I do not believe that there was any actual flight line that would let you reach the basket in one shot. After watching the person I was playing with try to feather their shot down the walking path I through a high RHBH anhyzer out over the pond and let it come back into the thick forest rough on the uphill and hoped for the best. To throw over the pond you had to throw in the first foot of the tee pad to hit the single gap that would let you go over the pond. I do not believe that it was designed for this flight line they just happened to place the tee where there were no trees to the left and only some six foot high bushes. The hope and pray shot over the pond actual worked out but that is only because it somehow managed to avoid most of the trees when it came back down. There was no landing area on the other side of the pond.

Other Thoughts:
IHCC is the worst course in the Twin Cities metro and it is not close. The course starts strangely with a forced overhand shot on the first tee and shows some promise early on the first four holes before lapsing into a disaster that sucks all of the fun out of playing.
