Great beginner course! The holes are easy enough for the beginner to learn everything they need to know. The lanes are set up so you can practice just about any throw and hone your skills.

Hole 3, there is a fence along the right side. On the other side is a residential area and one of the people there likes to take the discs. Ants, Mosquitos and the occasional wasp.

You would either have to be military, a dependent, or have a military sponsor to get you on the base.

Course has a variety of shots to develop skills, while also encouraging those with little experience by providing seemingly tricky shots that are not at all difficult (ie: a valley of trees, or a small horse-shoe hole). For experienced players, it provides a nice, quiet environment for enhancing your shots, with rarely any interference. The constant influx of new students on the base creates a LARGE capacity to expand this sport!!

For the experienced players, this course may be a little boring, as it doesn't provide many challenges. The hardest shot is probably hole 4, in which you must go under a large, low-lying tree, while dodging various other trees. Another con is the need for a military sponsorship to gain access, as its located on the air base.

In general, this is a great course for those wishing to learn the sport. I was here at Keesler for a 6 week training course (NCOA) and had the opportunity to teach it to 4 individuals by the end of week 2!

A great beginner course at just the right price...FREE! This course is just easy enough to get you excited about the sport by shooting low, but can deceive you as to your true skill level.

Deceptively easy compared to the "standard" course which is much more wooded and requires multiple skill shots to reach the basket. Fire ants and mosquitoes are an issue! You'll need a military sponsor to get on the base to play this course.

This course is really fun and gives you a chance to hone the simplest of shots. Great for practicing putting and figuring out distances of discs. All in all...I'd suggest it for sure.

Free course (if you can get on base) not crowded ever. Grounds are well groomed. Requires some technical throws (mostly straight though), but nothing too hard. Concrete tee pads on all holes except for #1. Nice Chainstar baskets... catch disc well.

Getting on base to play this course... I believe you have to be military or have a military sponsor. Trees can keep poorly thrown disc from coming down. No holes over 330ft. Holes 2 and 7 share the same basket so "if" there are other people on the course you may be shooting at the same hole. FIRE ANTS!!! Be careful when picking up your disc, also you should bring bug spray... lots of mosquitoes. Only 9 holes.

Lots of trees, but mostly a open course... Par is not hard to shoot here at all Unless there is a fair amount of wind, Wind is a great equalizer on this course. I've come up with score cards and optional holes for this park. Enough to play 5 other optional (9 hole) courses, these are in an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet including tee location and estimated distance using Google Earth.
