The baskets are yellow and very easy to see, I don't remember them being DISCatchers, especially since they are single chain.
Course starts out right next to the parking lot and with a couple of wide open holes. Then they get progressively tougher as you go along.
Some variety of holes, most were straight or right to left, with a couple left to right.
About the only elevation on the course is saved for the last two holes.
Multiple (four ?) tees are marked for each hole.
Great course to take beginners or the family to play a round.

All of the tees are natural, except for a couple that use nearby pavement. In ground tee markers for some, but most all had signs, especially the longer distance tees.
There are a few places you could lose a disc, but overall, the woods aren't too bad.
There are a couple of holes that border a Greenway trail, so you have to watch for users of the trail.
Small park in a small town, only porta-johns available and I didn't see any water.

As I mentioned above, this is a good course to bring beginners or the family. The park is small, so all of the holes are near the last one, in fact, you can probably see all the baskets from the center of the park.
The first two are wide open, with #2 being longer. Then #3 is positioned behind a guardian tree, #4 has a couple of trees to navigate off the tee. #5 requires a hyzer into the treeline, while #6 comes out of the trees, near a small ditch. #7 goes back into the treeline and the course finishes up, then down. #8 is a slight uphill, small ditch on the right and a couple of guardian trees near the basket and #9 is a big downhill shot, going left to right, with the basket just in the treeline. The two longer tees bring in more challenge, with a sharper turn on one, and a powerline pole to avoid from the other.
With four sets of tees marked on each hole, and many of those creating some very challenging shots, I think there must be some advanced players that play here. At least, some were around long enough to layout those tees and get tee signs made and installed. Since this was my second of 4 courses for the day (and a trip to IKEA in between), I played the white (or blue) tees. While not super challenging, I still had to make good throws to get birdies.
If you want to get a quick round in, and have little chance of losing a disc, this is the course. There are several different throws you have to make and the baskets require an accurate putt to stick.

In a park that sports a baseball field, basketball, a picnic area, portajohns, and is behind an industrial area, a fun disc golf course has sprung up. The course sports 9 baskets that are well spaced out. Flow is great, and does a wonderful job of keeping play away from the rest of the park activities.

There are 4 tee positions which really vary the level of difficulty. I did not get to play them all, but could see that varying the tees would really change the difficulty and challenge. The holes have a good variety too. The first few holes are largely open, but the second half of the course plays to a few nicely tucked pins. 8 is a nice uphill throw into a small copse of trees.

The course really shines on hole 9. This is a hole that would find itself well suited on even highly rated courses, especially from the A and B pins. It is a really nice downhill throw that forces a great throw to get a birdie look but will fairly reward that throw. There is also plenty of bailout to the left which sets up a par. I hear there is also a "local route" over the hill to the right near the railroad tracks from some tees. I love holes that are great risk-reward opportunities, and this certainly is one.

The obvious, it is only 9 baskets. This is somewhat made-up for when considering for such a small park, there are 4 sets of tees to chose from which actually do set up for much different layouts.

Baskets are single chains which is sometimes a negative, but at least they are quality ones so I didn't notice any spitouts.

Hole 3's basket has been mangled pretty hard by some sort of moving vehicle. It is still usable but is definitely a bit wonkey.

Many of the mando signs keep being ripped off (by no fault of the local DG club) but by necessity they are now only taped flags and spraypaint.

The tees for the whites, A's, and B's have signs, whereas the blues are only blue tee markers and are a bit more difficult to find.

As has been mentioned before, this park is not in the nicest area. From discussion with some of the local players there, it seems there are some shady activities that happen there so I would definitely be on my guard.

This is a perfectly serviceable 9 hole course. The 4 sets of tees really gives it more variety than I expected in a short 9 hole loop in a small park. The rarely used baseball field is also marked off by the locals for practicing.

It is a shame that there are some concerns about the safety of the local neighborhood (I didn't know until the locals told me), because that somewhat flavors the overall impression of the course which was otherwise fun and very enjoyable for a quick 9 holer.

Cool old school Discatchers, play on some history.
Multiple tees on every hole.
Quick play, open enough for beginners and families.
Minimal tee signs with hole number and distance helped find the start of every hole and keep the flow pretty smooth.

some tee signs were confusing, on hole 2 there were 2 signs 20 feet apart, but it said the holes were 60 feet different.
If you turn over a disc on hole 1's far tee you could end up in the road.
No tee pads, just colored circles makring where to throw from.

Course is not memorable. I was playing it for the second time, I got to hole 4 and realized I had already played this course before. Gotafixit, Jrawk and I called it the bikeshare program because Gotafixit rode an abandoned bike around the course.
With in walking distance of the college and much better than their 9 hole course. put them together for 18 holes of mediocrity.
I never felt that this was a bad area, but if you are uncomfortable, you can see your car for a majority of the course.
I have played this course twice because it is a quick play that was not too far from my main route. This is a nice place to quickly stretch your legs on a road trip.

For what land is there the designers have used it to the max. With 3 or 4 tees per hole you could play this little 9 holer several times with 36 unique holes.

These holes may not be very long but they take lots of shot shaping and precision.

signage is good and its pretty easy to find the different holes around the course.

It is a perfect course for those learning the game and a great place to learn how to control a mid or putter.

Love the downhill shot on hole 9.

The shorts are pretty easy and open almost too much so.

Ive heard story about it being in the ghetto and crazy stuff going on but I've never had any issues.

The greens are kind of boring.

For being in a tiny park with limited space this course is a great little 9 holer with variety. It may not be a championship course but it is a fun one to play. I love the way the designers have made the most out of what they have to work with.

While its not worth a road trip if youre in the area stoping here to play would not be a waste of time.

Beautiful park with FOUR tees per hole, including two challenging yellow tees.

White and Blue tees are well marked and great for ace runs or beginning players.

Gold tees allow enough distance, tough angles, and/or well marked "mandos" to every hole for intermediate and advanced players to get a variety of shots.

Creek comes into play on two holes.

Adequate bathrooms, nice shelters and a playground are all on site.

Basketball courts and softball field also adjacent but do not interfere with the well established course layout.

Do not bypass this course - grab a map and take on the gold tee layouts....two laps around from both gold tees make an enjoyable 18 hole round.

Local club has regular events.

Tournament director(s) welcome new players .

Could make the gold tees more obvious for those without a map.

The issue of the neighborhood not appreciating the disc golf presence has already been addressed on other reviews. However, if more disc golfers were chunking plastic here it would validate having the course among the softball and basketball areas.

Bottom line: the local club has improved this small but fun course; they have made excellent use of the land available.

Nice course for beginners to hone their skills.
Great practice for your midrange game.
Three tees for each hole. Yellow, Blue and White.
Last hole is a fun downhill shot with woods on the right side, causing right handers to anny.

Blue and White tees are fairly simple.
No real challenges.
Im sure that the yellow tees would prove more difficult, but are hard to find. Had another local tell me where to find them today.

This is the course that I end up playing the most, for the simple fact that it is so close to my house. The is nothing too terribly difficult in the course if you play the blue or white tees. Have yet to play the yellow tees. Just found out where they were from another local. This course is good practice for your mid-range game, since almost all the holes are under 300 ft. Most of the holes are out in the open. There is one hole that the tee is in the woods you have to throw out of for the blue and white tees.

- Baskets - All baskets were intact as of May 2009 and in good condition.
- Tee Pads - Grass. Decent traction, some hard to find (yellow pads especially).
- Tee Signs/Maps/Markers - Tee signs at every white tee but only to designate which hole you are on. No map on tee signs. At the time of review there were no course maps on site. Markers were easy to find with printed map (in the Links/Files tab).
- General Course Design - In general, I would classify this as a strictly novice course. Definitely a "family" course or good starter course.

The white tees are not very challenging for anyone more than a beginner. As stated above, the yellow tees are quite hard to find. Without a map you would never even know they were there. With 2 sets of yellow it would be nice to know which are designated as "A", "B", etc.

I did not find the area to be "bad" whatsoever. The park was actually quite nice and well kept for a small community park. After reading the other reviews I was a little nervous about playing it by myself but that was quickly gone once I arrived. The white tees provide a fun course to practice your short game while the blue and yellow tees add a decent amount of difficulty.
