K1 I was hoping for more 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 7, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Concrete tees (altough short and inconsistent) and a quite a few multi tee holes
-Variety of open/wooded holes and multiple pin positions
-Course/Park upkeep. Didn't see any trash in the park at all

Cons:

-Holes too close to fence lines, and some over/near roads
-Odd layout navigation wise. Tee pads in places that just make you wonder. A few long walks between holes. Sometimes it's not easy to find the next tee.

Other Thoughts:

This course has the basics... The park & course are pretty well kept. It has a few basic designed holes, but most felt pretty lacking to me. The course uses the roads and fences to shape many holes. While that creates decent throw lines, most of the holes have unnecessary hazards. No wow factor here. This course really did not leave me wanting to come back. I wasn't very interested in checking out the West course after my round here.

nice mix of trees & open, but not well marked 2+ years drive by

Pros:

nice mix of trees and open space

Cons:

once you find the tee, fairly well marked w/r/t where the basket is. but often the next tee is quite far from the last basket, leaving one wandering around a bit wondering where to go next.

Under Construction 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 14, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

Concrete Tees
2 courses at the same location

Cons:

As mentioned, it is difficult to find pins and next tee boxes on some of the holes.
Also, a massive skate park is being constructed right in the middle of hole 1 (East course I think) Tees/Holes for 1-3 are pretty much unfindable.

Other Thoughts:

Given a good map, and better hole overview signage/next tee box signs, this would be a very enjoyable course. As with several of the courses in south Florida, keep an eye out for massive spiderwebs.

I liked west better 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 5, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fairly easy course. Nice mix of right and left handed holes.

Cons:

Lots of pedestrians, kite fliers etc.
Holes cross back and forth across streets.

Other Thoughts:

Nothing beats a day on the course, but if you only have time for 18, play the west course.
