Pros:
This 9-hole, recreational course is great for those new to the game. Harder than it looks, this course will help develop a new player's game. With ample OB and oftentimes challenging wind, this course rewards accuracy and precision. In addition, the course has top of the line tee pads (concrete, 12x6), nice signs, and good baskets (Mach III). On top of all that, it is set in a beautiful park.
Cons:
This course is not for tops ams or pros, unless they are playing it to work on a specific shot. The longest hole is only 324 feet, and there are not a lot of trees. While still being fun, the course could get boring for more advanced players.
Other Thoughts:
Lake Mingo is what it is: a 9-hole, recreational course set in a city park. If you accept it for that, you will have a good time. If you want a championship level course, look elsewhere.
