Fun Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 28, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

I played this course yesterday and had a great time on it. The course is a little shorter than a few other around, but given the grounds, they did a fantastic job with it. The flow is really good and makes good sense with the exception of 5-6-7. Getting to play over water was pretty awesome, as this is a rarity here in OH. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The grass is always kept to a minimum except for the last three holes, but you won't lose your disc in the grass.

Cons:

The first thing that confused me was the sign on the clubhouse(?), that is pointing back towards the woods. I found hole one and thought because of the sign that you played it back into the woods. I found out after throwing my disc over the creek that you actually play the hole back towards York Rd. So if you are reading this, if you can see the numbers on the reflector posts then you are throwing in the right direction. As far as Holes, 5-6-7. From 5 you have walk to the North side of the church building towards York Rd. and you will find the tee for 6. After six walk towards the Pond. Hole 7 isn't marked with a reflector post, but you will see a 4ft beam on almost the very western point of the pond, that's the long tee, the short tee is on the north side of the pond with the same 4ft. beam as the rest of the holes. Bring a swim suit as the water hazard is deceptively difficult. I played the short tee just to be on the safe side since it was my first time on the course.

Other Thoughts:

This is a church, be respectful of the grounds. This course will make you feel good as birdies or skins are not too hard to get and it's pretty open.
