I was here on a Sunday morning and there were only two groups of ball golfers and 4 sets of disc golfers. The nice lady whom runs the course took me out to tee 1 and showed me the tee box, the sign and how to use the basket washer, did not need it but it was a nice touch. The grass was green and the lawn mower was going. Nice layout, challenging.

No restaurant on site (LOL) I don't really have any at this course. Lot of RHBH shots (1 forehand 1 roller) If you have a monster throw may play a bit easy. everyone 350 and under will have a challenge

They raised the cost to $5, still worth it, I'll be back

Manicured grass, great staff, layout was great. Scorecards available at the front desk. Weather was great. Ability to drink purchased beer on course. Easy parking area.

No food on site. Rollers don't come easy. No skips from shots. Potential ball golfers on the course too. Other golfers using carts. Mud and water in creek / swamp area.

Top of the world shot on #11 was gorgeous, easy to leave it in the water if you're not careful. If you play multiple rounds, the price goes down from original $4. Play this course for a great time at a beautiful location.

The course shares space with a 9 hole ball golf course, so the maintenance is impeccable by disc golf standards. There are nice concrete tees and the baskets are in fine shape. Maps and scorecards are available at the pro shop, as are snacks, drinks and discs. There is plenty of length here, with several opportunities to rip some big drives. Shorter reachable holes are mixed in so it doesn't just feel like a bomber course.

The course does a pretty good job of not just having ball golf style holes. The trees between fairways and the woods around the edges of the course are used on several holes to add some challenge. There are some nice elevation changes, and the design uses them a lot. There are multiple fun downhill holes which is always a plus for the fun factor. There are also some tricky uphill shots.

The creek and pond come into play a couple times, as do some artificial OB areas. This adds some risk/reward decisions on a few holes where you have to make the choice between laying up safe and going for the green with the possibility of going OB.

Despite creative design, the course still feels pretty open on a lot of the holes. This combined with the way the course is routed means that RHBH players will throw a lot of hyzers here. It also means that there are only a couple places where you have to really hit a tighter gap, there is a lot of room for error and little punishment on most of the drives. Navigation can be a little tricky, signs are in the works but in the meantime pay attention to the map or hook up with a local to avoid having to wander.

Because the routing doesn't just follow the ball golf holes there could be conflict if there are players playing both at the same time, make sure to keep an eye out on shots crossing or going against the ball golf flow. There are a couple spots where the holes play pretty close to one another, with possibilities for ending up in another fairway or on another tee.

This course is very scenic and has some really fun holes. I definitely recommend a stop here if you're in the area. Beginners will find the course pretty long, but not so punitive that it's frustrating. Experienced players will enjoy the chances to air out some drives, but won't find their line shaping skills tested all that much.

Not always a problem, but you do need to be aware of the ball golfers at times. Not a popular course though.

A very nice addition to the Chico area disc golf scene. You can play quickly here and not worry to much about hiking/ losing discs. Definitely worth the money to play this course

This is a beutifull 18 hole course set amongst a 9 hole ball golf course. This makes allmost the whole course green and beutifull year round. They do charge a 4$ fee to play but this helps to keep unwanted elements from playing out here, and helps keep the course looking as beutifull as it does. The owners are very receptive to disc golfers and treat us with a respect that we usualy don't get from ball golfers. There are a couple of areas that seem to get slick and muddy during the winter months, but the ball golfers were nowhere to be seen then. There are a couple of areas whre the ball golf and disc golf get to where they might have problems, but these are solved with some nice mandos. There is a need for the disc golf holes to get some good signs, but I think it's just a matter of time before they do it. Jimbosprint was also telling me that they have plans to put in another 18 holes in some unused space down by the creek in the back of the course. We just need to keep disc golfers coming out there, until the point that they realize that they can make more money catering to disc golfers than ball golfers.

Many different types of shots needed. Some longer shots with 5 holes over 400ft. Open area for the most part with it being on a Golf Course. Have some down hill shots and uphill shots so the variety was very good. They also have score cards with a map of the holes which was very helpful even though some were still difficult to find. Without being able to actually see the hole. example #6.

Very Hilly but if need be there are golf carts. Tee Boxes just marked with white stake in the ground so sometimes difficult to find. Also was difficult with nobody in the club house to ask questions if you had them or not and pay. (they were outside working on stuff)

I would say with the money they get per round for it to go back into the course and clean up the tee boxes. Or make them a little more noticable. The map on the score card was great but if i didn't find that i would of been lost. So markings would definantly benefit in my opinion.

Sky tees, open, no looking for discs in brush on every hole (watch out for the briar pit before the creek!), green

It's a good occasional alternative if you play bidwell all the time, grass is a nice change, prob worth the $3 green fee + $1 basket fee
